  • One reason to select the EcoFlow house batteries is the flexibility. It’s possible to take a battery out of the system and use it elsewhere.

A few options that might work for you to avoid the use of a very loud gasoline generator: 1. Ecoflow offers a EV Charging Station Adapter that will allow you to charge the DeltaPro at a J1772 public charging station. 2. Portable solar panels. 3. Install an inverter in your car so that the car, while running, can charge the DeltaPro. I use my car as a backup generator during extended power outages using an inverter I had installed. The car will serve as a power source when the DeltaPros require charging. Luckily, I’ve had dependable grid power over the past year. This 3rd option is the least preferred in your use case because the fumes from the car exhaust may ruin the beautiful ambiance of your camp site. Your car will run quieter than your generator, however.

I actually bought a NEMA 14-50 level 2 EV charger with j1772 connector that I plug into the 14-50 wall socket left by the previous owner to power her Tesla. With the proper adapter it really charges the Delta Pro fast, but it isn't practical for everyday use. Maybe a future EV car or truck can augment the Ecoflow solution.

What was the highest temperature that you have to shut the unit down for cooling in the summer? Thanks.

I saw the internal temp tick just over 100F until the little A/C schedule kicked the unit on and brought the temp down. I mentioned in a later video that I wanted to try setting the little A/C thermostat to 85F. I had the Delta P furthest from the A/C error out and shut down. Then the remaining DP ran out of power and shut down the battery backup that I run every day from 5-8PM. The house went dark for about 5 seconds, then the grid power kicked in. Now that I am running the A/C thermostat at 80F, it seems to be fine.
