I have one of these meters and my only negatives are no backlight and weak input protection, but if used within its design parameters its a nice high resolution meter with enough accuracy for anyone but a serious technician etc. No excuse for a meter in this price range to not have a backlight, but I knew that when I bought it, crazy part is the lower end less expensive models of this meter DO have a backlight. UniT has even better newer designs now for about the same money, their new designs are a real improvement in build quality.
Which one is the new one?
Ordered one today, really looking forward to it.
Would be nice if it would have temperature measurement option and LED indicator as model UT890D+.
One the other hand for the temp. measurement probably is better to have dedicated meter for that, so i went in the end with combo UT-61E and UT320D + so now i can for just a little bit more measure 2 points in space which is really handy.
Overall i cant wait to test them!

But the problem for this model sir UNI-T UT61E is no display back light in the screen..
@@elytelmoso1300 I never used back light, but if you really need that, you can hack it, there are a lot of projects about it

Please, I have a problem with this model, which is that it does not turn off the automatic power if I don't remember to switch it off.
Where is there a fix for this problem?
I always turn it on/off, so im not sure if it has auto power off!?
