Have you tried measuring mains AC voltage with this meter? I'm looking to get one one of these meters myself but I want to measure some high potential mains voltage circuits and I'm really curious if it'll handle it.

I've measured 230v ac mains it worked fine, but for safety reason and confidence of measurements you should go for industrial grade multimeter.
This multimeter is not really useful for high potential ,coz @ 1000 v it starts beeping due to hv alert.

yes they have series like uni t ut 61(a,b,c,d,e)

You´re measuring the cap inside of the board... ??? it shows aprox 1 mF and you said 1000µF. Furhter you´re measuring shit inside of the circuit.!!!
