Gotta give you mad props for your in depth breakdown of this song. I absolutely agree with you, Damian outshined Nas, and That's almost unheard of. The Entire Album was dedicated to Africa, and like most of Damian Marley projects, is Str88 Fyah. Also, gotta give Stephen "Ragga" Marley, who produced this Album, along with most of The Marleys Projects in the last two decades.

This the first review I’ve seen of this song where someone actually bothered to read Damien’s lyrics and understand what he was saying.

He is saying we gotta go to hospitals to get fixed but African tribal men can heal a broken bone with just mud

Rastafarians are deep meditators and they are spiritual respectful to their ancestors(Africa). The song is a spiritual song! 6:17 we cannot never feel at home in the west!

Thanx for doing this song bro! I knew you would appreciate this. It's in my top 10 of best songs ever written. The chorus is not Jamaican it's Bambara, one of the languages spoken in Mali. When Nas said 52 fakers he's means like the saying he's a 52 fake out. It's what people say to those who are misleading and deceitful.
Please react to Damian Marley - Welcome to Jamrock. It's a reggae song but you might like it. His accent is a little thicker in that song but you're intelligent, you'll understand

Love your videos. What I like about your videos is that you break down each verse and talk about it and explain what it mean or try to find the meaning of what they are saying. Keep up the great work even through I might not like a song I still you a thumbs up.

Nice review. He like his father references Bible a lot. So, if you have read bible you might understand what's in his head when he is writing his lyrics.
Anyway, This song is sampled from - Amadou & Mariam - Sabali (Do listen to it)

For wet mud see John 9 : 6 -7 after saying this , he spot off the ground, made some mud with the saliva and put it on the man’s eyes.
    Compare this with modern science

52 faker or 52 fake out is a hood slang mean when someone is expecting for others to do something with them but they don’t because they lied...the person who lied is a 52 faker or pulled a 52 fake out...it could be a joke against that person or it could be a serious situation
