- Many new ridable pals were introduced in the new Palworld Sakurajima update, and in this video, we compare them all! We test their walking speed, running/sprinting speed, and their jumping as well.
Not all measurements and timings will be exact, but this should serve as a good basis for testing the new mounts!

shroomer number 1 for jumping style.
Yoshi
I think it would have been a good idea to show the player running next to the pals so you can see how much faster it is than being unmounted.
Sometimes, I feel like rushroar is slower than me Lol
My new favorite pal for riding is Dazemu with Legend and Swift. The thing is so fast, it's even a bit difficult to control it in complicated places. I don't know what it's meant to be, but it looks a bit like a Mexican wrestler.
I believe Dazemu is a mixture of a turkey, a roadrunner, an ostrich and an Indian chief's attire
your right that mount does look pretty cool, i would use that
dazemu is my new favourite for travel inside dugeons, replace the fenglope. i named him Chocobo
Those dingus looking birds from ffxiv?
Kwee!!
Great content. The in-game comparisons are in a format that have been much needed by the community. I would really like to see comparisons of different passive skills on production. Like, will Digtoise produce more ore with:
Artisan/Work Slave/Serious/Lucky
Or
Artisan/Work Slave/Workaholic/Nocturnal
There seems to be some disagreement in the community about the best passives.
Shroomer trying so hard to do the yodhi flutter jump ^^;;
Shroomers jump reminds me of Yoshi, so cute
is selyne faster when she is flying? i always feel like mine goes faster when flying than she does on the ground. but ive never actually tested it
in conclusion, Dazemu fast asf
Yeah, Yakumo slow as dirt. However, movement isn’t really his purpose.
You could get a Yakumo with the passives: infinite stamina, swift and runner and get those onto pals you catch. Legend and Emporer/Lord skills don't go onto pals you catch you use Yakumo for so you have to breed Legend still as the 4th passive on Pals you want as fast mounts to travel around the world. So either way it's good to get a fast Yakumo (Even ifit's not the fastest mount in the game or in general.)
@@whitedragonzerureusu4480 yakumo is just good for farming new pals with the passive you want. BUT, for people that just started, i think yakumo is really good for them. Easily breedable and has pretty strong skills. Breed them and get at least Serenity and musclehead(Impatience is a plus). Make em ur main dps and i guarantee they can carry you until u get to beat legendary pals.
@@whitedragonzerureusu4480 I've been using it like synchronize abras in pokemon, getting one of each desirable passive. Think it works better for breeding this way. Might put in the work to get a few w/ multiple passives I commonly want together, but shuttling that into future projects.
Yukumo isn't really a travel mount. You breed legend onto it and then hop on it before you throw spheres at legendary Pals. It then adds a nice chunk to the catch rate. I'm using legend as the example because it's the most consistent passive you can find on a spawned pal, I do not know if having multiple passive skills match increases the catch rate further. Though having a higher grade Yukumo does.
To me, Dazemu is the fastest ground mount in the game. Awesome pal
so stats say that Dazemu is 900/1200 base speed. however his passive skill increases his movement speed while mounted on sand by 50/62/74/86/100%, so a 4* Dazemu has a 1800 move speed on sand which is slightly faster than a Jet at 1700. with your testing did you test at 0 star?
Yakumo is not good for mount but is a surprisingly good attacker for a smaller Pal. The holy burst move is just really good.
Your legs touch the ground when you ride him. It's like trying to ride a corgi
I don't know if it's still the case, but Nightwing was the only flying pal who would scale when condensed (though he was still far outclassed by others). Do any of the new mount's movement speeds scale when condensed?
the bonus on Daze does: 50/62/74/86/100% It legit walks faster than a jet on sand. still slower sprinting but its impressive none the less
Edit: and a handful of the primary mounts increased their speed when condensed. the rule generally runs 0/10/12/15/20% and applies to Direhowl, Nitewing, Rayhound, Fenglope, Paladius and Necromus. Galeclaw also has a glider speed increase.
@@bobnewkirk7003 neat. I wonder about the rest, especially the new dragon alien. It might be why everything seems to start so slow
@@nicholashiatt527 I added an edit I'm not sure you saw. the old primary mounts all scaled some with condensation, just not as hard as Galeclaw and now Dazemu
Doesn't Selene fly though?
Nah it floats
Dazemu is best bird.
