Also, Tails didn't "Lose it" he simply went missing after Sonic lost to infinite. The Japanese script is almost better in every way in terms of dialogue. but there's some dialogue that would not fly in English such as Sonic and Knuckles calling Infinite "Masked Prick".
I know it's a very dumb comparison, but he has something in common with Luigi. Only backwards. Think about it. Luigi is Mario's player 2, and in Luigi's Mansion for the GameCube, Luigi was a coward at the beginning, but eventually conquered his fears, and did the same in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Tails is Sonic's player 2, and in SA he beat Chaos 4. In more recent games, he doesn't do jack shit except for standing there like a coward. Don't get me wrong, I really liked Tails in the older games, but in the most recent games, he hasn't been of much help.
They turned him into Luigi except ten-times as much of a pathetic loser. Luigi was a scaredy cat but grew into a competent hero in his own right throughout the series. Tails _was_ a hero in his own right but regressed into a pathetic coward who relies on Sonic way too much as the series went on. Ironic seeing how his arc in Adventure 1 was about him learning not to depend on Sonic so much and become more independent. In Adventure 2 after Sonic dies (except not really), Tails takes initiative and fights to save the day because he knows it's what Sonic would've wanted. Here, he pisses himself at the sight of Chaos (who he already defeated before) and cries out for (a supposedly dead) Sonic to save him. What.
i prefer the original script before release when infinite had real reality shattering power and not just faking power... and it was an actual genetic engineered clone made by robotnick and not a random bounty hunter... (you can still see the infinite failed cloning attempt in one of the last levels...) Smug Sneasel I don't think what you say is entirely accurate because the first draft was written in Japanese by Eitaro Toyoda and Makoto Goya, translated and revised in English by Pontac and Goya, and then was translated back into Japanese. The original draft is not the one used in the final Japanese release and we don't know how much it deviates.

My favorite level was Iron Fortress. I loved the music and I loved the level design. The auto scrolling just increased the action. As I was playing it, I told myself that that I thought the level was well designed.
This was interesting, but there is TONS to be discussed as well. I think my favorite recent reference is how they saved the wisps from eggman, who wanted to use them for a weapon, then use them in THEIR weaponS.

So apparently “Tails lost it” was just a localization choice, but I like to think it was a writer taking a jab at how Tails lost his spine since Adventure. You know? The thing his entire story mode was about in both games? Honestly at this point the moon feels like the most consistent thing in the Sonic franchise.
If you want to play a good handheld sonic game on the switch play sonic mania, or the gba has the sonic advance trilogy, or the rush trilogy on the ds. Edit: Maybe the giant snake is the great laviathin from yugioh.

Have a schedule for each game you play, here's an example: Day 1: Gameboy or Gameboy Advance game Day 2: DS or DSI or 3DS game Day 3: Nintendo Switch game This would be a good schedule for the videos you put out so there is a large variety or games, and so I can watch you freak out over gb games.

La Maci Probably because a 3DS is actually much more expensive when you factor in the capture card. The Switch can just use standard TV capture. (Although yes there _is_ a way to capture 3DS with homebrew but not at 60FPS. So it might not meet his standards, idk. It's still pretty smooth though.)

I personally don't especially like the game. But I do think people who say it's terrible are taking things too far. To me, the game just "is". To me, it doesn't go into being "great" and at the same time it doesn't go into being "bad". It's just a middle of the road game.
Sonic Lost World took place on the Lost Hex which had kind of a bee hive theme going for it, so it makes a little more sense to have Zavok riding a giant bee than anyone else.
Still don't see why people overreact to Sonic Forces so much, it's honestly not that bad. Just a fun little game for a decent price. I feel a lot of the hate it gets is unwarranted. :/ Anyway, Good video :)

Might only be 4 hours long if you're rushing through the story. but with all the bonus costumes, Stages, Collectibles, and more, you have WAY more content. It's not just about the main game, the End game matters too
Got it for Christmas on the Switch. Gonna be playing the Steam version next. I must say, that there is nothing in this game that is *offensively* bad. People are just throwing hate fuel to the fire, just to make things more worse. This "Sonic Forces is a really bad game" bandwagon needs to end. Just accept the fact that the game itself is average. Take a good look at the reviews, this game is a mixture of 5's/6's and mostly 7's. So most of it is positive feedback. I honestly don't think this game deserves as much hate as it gets. I'm just generally getting sick and tired of this fanbase already just bashing on the game without even trying it. Just bitching and whining over and over for years on end non stop over this bloody game as I predict. Get over it. It's done, you've given the game criticism "fans" now move on please. Sorry for ranting on. Great review by the way though. I've given the game my thoughts & its a 6.9 or a 7/10 from me. Loved the music, the graphics, gameplay. Level design is a bit empty, the story was actually pretty well done actually, aside from some translation issues here and there if people were actually bothered to have a look and read the comics first and research the story about Infinate and the Phantom Ruby online. The controls feel a bit awkward at times (gives me a Sonic Heroes vibe actually lol), but aside from that, nothing overly major.
First, I am surprised that it didn't take a month for another Lonely Goomba episode. Second, I never thought I'd see an Emo Goomba. That had me dying. 😂

Oh hey! I forgot about you. I used to love your videos, didn't know you did more than just gameboy games though. Cool too see youtubers I used to watch ages ago branch out and change their formula a bit. So many people just get stuck doing the same thing and never change.
I have plenty of better ideas for bosses and level designs that I came up with in an hour: •get rid of The other Sonic from the different dimension, seriously he was just there... •make SOME of the levels Speed levels and some inspiration from the Battle of bikini bottom puzzle solving but make them intermediate. •Have the two drones (I honestly forgot their names) actually do something like have their own mid-boss fight because Infinite said so, but they’re a danger to themselves since they argue who should control what and it temporarily stuns this giant robot that’s a combination of each other. •Add null space back in make it a full level. I don’t care if this game didn’t get released before an anniversary, if it needs to be completed, complete it. If it was storage problems then that’s understandable. Instead of Sonic being released due to “zavox’s” incompetence, have him get sent into an arena for execution by bees. Have the bosses have a mid boss before the next level. Like the bee being it’s own boss and have eggman/robotnik control the queen beebot in front of weaken, tortured Sonic (or just drop the torture concept.) then have ‘zavox’ be introduced again with Infinite floating beside him, have Infinite introduce himself like an edgy asshole or a gentleman. Have zavox first phase constantly charging and throwing punches at Sonic and the next phase is Zavox getting glitchy and teleporting all over the place, while throwing punches and those psychic cubes. Third phase combines the two phases. Now sonic is wondering what the heck happened with zavox and why he decided to work for eggman again and brings the information back to resistance. Next, Add chaos in, but have him multiply into many chaos (the max being five) and have the other four change into his stronger forms, one being stronger than the next. Let’s have tails do this fight (I mean c’mon, that ‘sonic help me’ BS was terrible.) Now Let’s have the enemies be introduced like the enemies in the Battle of Bikini Bottom. Have a funny little cutescene showing their attacks and how they get defeated by whatever is similar to Sonic’s or your main character’s attacks. Have a infinite’s shadow boss fight where he glitches around the arena trying to drop kick you or something. Then second phase the real shadow jumps in and fights glitched shadow. Maybe confusion going on since it’s shadow vs shadow, so I was thinking of those cube particles showing on the fake shadow. This is what I came up within an hour, if anyone has other ideas or sees any grammatical errors feel free to add on or correct me.

Hey goomba, I have an idea. Have a schedule for each game you play, here's an example:
Day 1: Gameboy or Gameboy Advance game
Day 2: DS or DSI or 3DS game
Day 3: Nintendo Switch game
This would be a good schedule for the videos you put out so there is a large variety or games, and so I can watch you freak out over gb games.

Great, i've been waiting all my life to see you tear this game to shreds.
Despite the utter shortness of this game I made endless wacky ocs on here and couldn't stop playing just to see what the heck they looked like speaking different languages. Yes, there's a section where you could change what language they speak. And the music... I FREAKING LOVE THE MUSIC

La Maci Probably because a 3DS is actually much more expensive when you factor in the capture card. The Switch can just use standard TV capture. (Although yes there _is_ a way to capture 3DS with homebrew but not at 60FPS. So it might not meet his standards, idk. It's still pretty smooth though.)

I actually like Sonic Forces. It was pretty great experience with the story and the replayability is worth buying for $40 as well.

I do as well! Unfortunately, the Sonic fanbase likes to rip into this game and attack other people who like this game.
I personally don't especially like the game.
But I do think people who say it's terrible are taking things too far.
To me, the game just "is".
To me, it doesn't go into being "great" and at the same time it doesn't go into being "bad". It's just a middle of the road game.

Sonic Lost World took place on the Lost Hex which had kind of a bee hive theme going for it, so it makes a little more sense to have Zavok riding a giant bee than anyone else.

Might only be 4 hours long if you're rushing through the story. but with all the bonus costumes, Stages, Collectibles, and more, you have WAY more content. It's not just about the main game, the End game matters too

Got it for Christmas on the Switch. Gonna be playing the Steam version next. I must say, that there is nothing in this game that is *offensively* bad. People are just throwing hate fuel to the fire, just to make things more worse. This "Sonic Forces is a really bad game" bandwagon needs to end. Just accept the fact that the game itself is average. Take a good look at the reviews, this game is a mixture of 5's/6's and mostly 7's. So most of it is positive feedback. I honestly don't think this game deserves as much hate as it gets. I'm just generally getting sick and tired of this fanbase already just bashing on the game without even trying it. Just bitching and whining over and over for years on end non stop over this bloody game as I predict. Get over it. It's done, you've given the game criticism "fans" now move on please.
Sorry for ranting on. Great review by the way though. I've given the game my thoughts & its a 6.9 or a 7/10 from me. Loved the music, the graphics, gameplay. Level design is a bit empty, the story was actually pretty well done actually, aside from some translation issues here and there if people were actually bothered to have a look and read the comics first and research the story about Infinate and the Phantom Ruby online. The controls feel a bit awkward at times (gives me a Sonic Heroes vibe actually lol), but aside from that, nothing overly major.
People need mindsets like yours, or else society's gonna be fucked.

The brilliance of this game is that it establishes Classic Sonic as an alternate universe, so that means you don't have to play any of the bad 3d Sonic games because they aren't the real universe!

Oh hey! I forgot about you. I used to love your videos, didn't know you did more than just gameboy games though. Cool too see youtubers I used to watch ages ago branch out and change their formula a bit. So many people just get stuck doing the same thing and never change.
Sonic Forces is a total disappointment. Try Sonic Mania!

I have plenty of better ideas for bosses and level designs that I came up with in an hour:
•get rid of The other Sonic from the different dimension, seriously he was just there...
•make SOME of the levels Speed levels and some inspiration from the Battle of bikini bottom puzzle solving but make them intermediate.
•Have the two drones (I honestly forgot their names) actually do something like have their own mid-boss fight because Infinite said so, but they’re a danger to themselves since they argue who should control what and it temporarily stuns this giant robot that’s a
combination of each other.
•Add null space back in make it a full level. I don’t care if this game didn’t get released before an anniversary, if it needs to be completed, complete it. If it was storage problems then that’s understandable.
Instead of Sonic being released due to “zavox’s” incompetence, have him get sent into an arena for execution by bees.
Have the bosses have a mid boss before the next level. Like the bee being it’s own boss and have eggman/robotnik control the queen beebot in front of weaken, tortured Sonic (or just drop the torture concept.) then have ‘zavox’ be introduced again with Infinite floating beside him, have Infinite introduce himself like an edgy asshole or a gentleman. Have zavox first phase constantly charging and throwing punches at Sonic and the next phase is Zavox getting glitchy and teleporting all over the place, while throwing punches and those psychic cubes. Third phase combines the two phases.
Now sonic is wondering what the heck happened with zavox and why he decided to work for eggman again and brings the information back to resistance.
Next, Add chaos in, but have him multiply into many chaos (the max being five) and have the other four change into his stronger forms, one being stronger than the next. Let’s have tails do this fight (I mean c’mon, that ‘sonic help me’ BS was terrible.)
Now Let’s have the enemies be introduced like the enemies in the Battle of Bikini Bottom. Have a funny little cutescene showing their attacks and how they get defeated by whatever is similar to Sonic’s or your main character’s attacks. Have a infinite’s shadow boss fight where he glitches around the arena trying to drop kick you or something. Then second phase the real shadow jumps in and fights glitched shadow. Maybe confusion going on since it’s shadow vs shadow, so I was thinking of those cube particles showing on the fake shadow.
This is what I came up within an hour, if anyone has other ideas or sees any grammatical errors feel free to add on or correct me.
