Take them and ramp up the speed, aggression and Satanic lyrics ×100 and you have DEICIDE. slayer were big time posers and not truly Satanic. They weren't really into it. I knew I had finally found what I was looking for and truly needed. HAIL SATAN ☠️💀👹🔥 I ended up getting the Satanic medallion from the first album tattooed on my right arm. Glad I never got any slayer tattoos.

Hoffmans partialy palm mute the trem picking. Sounds way more punishing that way. Part of the old school Deicide sound. Eric and Brian had really good dynamics. Very savage energetic attack. Steve is flyin tught as hell and GB is slammin bass and vox.
The Hoffmann brothers had that razor-sharp, scooped--mid, super-distorted guitar sound down to a tee. It's like they plugged into a Boss Metal Zone pedal, set it to stun, and let their fingers do the rest! Liked the sudden, abrupt, clamp-down-tight endings to their songs too.
