Adding Mud, a Tree and a Boat! - Rebuilding the mill by Mountains in Minutes

  • Finishing the Gardner Brothers Mill! Adding a muddy beach, a pine tree by Al Badham, and a wonderful rowboat by Steve Strebel. And moving on to the outside portion of the railroad.
    We added a new section to the left of the mill to ballence the "scene" with a riverbank, some fallen bolders from the cliff above, a pine tree by Al Badham and some of Karyn's nifty cattails. The new section also locks everything in place. The tresstle goes in first, then the mill building keys onto that and this section locks the mill in place. Sort of a puzzle.
    And final water effects under the water wheel. Using Mod Poge and clear caulk.
    The the Crown Jewel. Steve Strebel build a rowboat to tie up at the boat dock!!

This has been such a great project to learn from as you went. Learned a lot about ways to do water and painting techniques too thank for this fun adventure with the mill.
    GOD BLESS you both.

      The plan is once we paint water on the floor there’s going to be a one by four kickplate all the way across the front. Secretly there will be lights hidden in it! Anyway, that will be there to protect the mill in the water and the bridge and everything because if people walk right in there, they’re going to break something!

    How are you going to paint the canyon walls? Are you going to need to remove everything? The final mill turned out great and I have enjoyed your series. Thank you.

    • @ToyManTelevision
      @ToyManTelevision  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m going to rear part of the cliff directly above the mill to make it match the section above there. It looks a little too much like layers of insulation! So some reshape in there, filling in the section between the upper Canyon and the lower Canyon using the same technique, including a ledge with the precarious village on it! Then a little bit of layering with sculptamold. the final paint is done with the same bear colors of house latex from Home Depot combined with some of the craft colors. Same way we did the area around the mill!
