I loved that the soldiers stuck to their training to shoot, move, and communicate. The exact tactics taught to used against an all out war with Orcs and T-rex

Epic ending scene! It looked like Spartacus killed the last orc and the way it was in slow motion with him thrusting!

The thing is, those 20k trolls and t-rexes are absolute menaces to society. But when you have modern ranged units, I don't think anyone would rlly be able to stand against them. And that last scene was a gem.

I think they would’ve had a better chance of mass deployment if the generals hadn’t bought so much time after the front broke. I really thought the orcs had this one lol, but beefy generals and tanky boos had a different opinion lol
@@hothotdogwater No, based on the orcs vs modern army I doubt they would of won this. There is more 'tanks' this time but so did the armies.

The breaking point was that Roman GOD 31:35 standing and holding like 3/10 of the enemy army by him freakin self.
A mastery rarely seen -----> 32:17 ... Also Great Slomo... More of that in your videos. That was an awesome take!

This was a resounding victory for the human side. I think the way the human units combined their fighting styles is what won it for them. The ancient melee units were able to box up the orcs AND the dinos and made them sitting ducks for the ranged modern soldiers to just mow down behind them. The modern soldiers are also very quick and elusive... plus they can retreat and fire. The melee units were able to hold out enough and effectively protect the modern soldiers from getting killed. The modern soldiers just coasted to victory after that.

There wasn't 1 turning point to me, but 3 positive signs in a row.
1. Squads of 50+ orcs chasing after 1 modern solider, while other MS cut them to ribbons, resulting in 50+ dead orcs, and a still living MS.
2. The orcs attempting a surround, but not having the numbers to sustain it, so they had a wave, it crested, and then quickly receded, and the MS' rear lines were cleared of enemies.
3. Spartacus and Leonidas drawing huge numbers of enemy troops away , effectively splitting the Orc-troll-Trex army in 3.

It has already been mentioned in the previous comments however I was wondering about the tactics being deployed. However, if it is still in the alpha phase I can appreciate why now it was more of a slogging match.
That being said, It was pretty much for Leonidas and Spartacus to hold the line while the modern soldiers turned everything to a fine mist. Had friendly fire been a thing, I can only imagine the swing towards the orc bands.
I agree with your comment my friend. however, the game is still in alpha. If I stop making videos, the youtube algorithm will punish me. That's why I try to do the best battles I can with the units at hand.

My main issue with these battles is that there's no tactics involved. Is there any effect at all from having better positions... cover, high ground, sand and mud affecting mobility, etc.?
The game is still in alpha, my friend. That's why there are deficiencies.

I agree with you. The units are not ranking up and fighting their best fights. Legion tactics would've been to fight in squares. The Spartan phalanx shoulder to shoulder in disciplined ranks, etc.
About all that matters is constrictive terrain (bridges, gates, cliffs) blocking movement, and terrain (including body piles) blocking ranged fire. So, you can tackle larger units if they're only fed piecemeal over bridges or through gates, or set up reverse slope defenses with ranged units. You'll find that the units stumbling about often achieve tactical stalemates for a while at just these places, where attackers are fed piecemeal, or along the crest of a ridge for ranged units.
Great run. How about 10 million orcs, trolls and T-Rexs to make it a challenge.

As time went on, orcs, trolls and trex’s became more intelligent. They realized what their ancestors did was wrong and they wanted to fix it. They proved time and time again they could be trusted by the mere humans but the humans denied them equality. The 2 million orcs and 20k trolls + trex’s just wanted to be equals with humans.
Spartacus, John Wick and King Leonard were sitting around a table discussing whether they should or should not be equals. So the three generals had a vote, whatever side had more votes was the final decision and all vowed to work together with whichever was voted in. The end result was 2 to 1. Spartacus and John wick voted against them being equal while King Leonard voted for them to be equal. King Leonard was more open minded while John Wick and Spartacus weren’t as open minded as he was.
Since the vote was against equality between orc, trex, and trolls. Spartacus and John Wick went on a killing spree worldwide with their troops killing any orcs, trex’s or trolls.
The remaining 2 million orcs, 20k trex’s and trolls went into hiding in a desert.
King Leonard received some news about them hiding in the desert. He told Spartacus and John Wick. They all brought their armies to kill the rest and to never speak of this war ever. This is where your video takes place 😊
PS: John wick is wondering how you found out about this war🤨

This is so bad. This is like Hollywood depicts battles. The generals are almost immortal, troops fly everywhere, they just charge in like idiots tripping over one another. There is no strategy, it’s just a big mob. And, the gunmen have infinite ammo, what the heck?
dude it's a game. The purpose is to have fun. You can't enjoy anything with this point of view :)
Everyone asks where John Wick is, but at the beginning of the war, John Wick had killed her share of 1 million Orcs and 10,000 T-Rexes, and fell asleep with her dog under the palm tree.

Spartacus won it for team good. Had the modern soldiers helped out the flanks sooner and not focused on the middle less carnage would have occurred. Otherwise I’m surprised that the good side won. Though I wonder what happened to Jon wick and leonidas.

Humanity had once again triumphed but at a terrible cost, we'd lost 1000's of our brave Greek and Roman comrades during the battle...but their sacrifices had helped turn the tide of the battle.
Now it was time to rest. The wounded were tended too, our fallen comrades were toasted and the cooks began to build great fires, grilled T-REX would go along way to assuage the men's hunger after such a long battle!!!

No offense to the author, but yeah following that logic, Trexes and trolls in my opinion should be at the front with the rest of infantry in the back as support for the main damage dealers.

And so, Spartan can't running more than 50 or 100 meters because in fact it was a united group,
with each unit protecting the one next to it with its own shield,
and the row behind strikes from above with the spears while the front row with the shields strikes with the swords intermittently: it's like a huge chopper of meat (said the expert of Sparta).

Spartans, Romans, and modern SOF. That's not even fair. Even if the Orcs have trolls and dinos. There was no "Turning point" in this battle. The moment those modern infantry and tanks were selected it was over for them. Spartans and Romans hold the line, SOF and tanks lay down massive unrelenting fire power.
