WELLINGTON WINTER LANDBASED FISHING. July 2023. New Zealand

Every week when weather permits me Jono & Ryan go land based fishing and filming and every week we do the drive into Wellington from Kapiti Coast.
Even though the water temperature has dropped there is still great fishing to be had land based in Wellington. This video showcases some of the great fishing we have been having in the Wellington region. Now this video took me weeks to make and a very long time to edit all support is highly appreciated any questions feel free to drop a comment.

awesome video man great job at putting everything together. so cool how u caught the gurnards on lures at day 1. something i still yet to achieve landbased haha plus so cool you caught blue mackerel on the surfcaster. those were big as kahawai haha

Thank you so much. It took a long time and some real patience 😂. I'm sure you could achieve the Gurnard on the metal lure you just need to get to a good spot that holds them. It's crazy to see the blue mackerel numbers lately in the harbour. Keep up the good work and appreciate you. much love.

Thanks so much dude! There was more fishing done before July but yea it is getting slower however there is always alot of Gurnard around in the harbour! Thanks heaps for the nice comment I am constantly trying to make the videos better and better each time.
