Do these scratch your barbell sleeves at all? People have said the pin lock rubs against the sleeves on the inside of the collar where there is no foam padding
@@mikeworkman1759 it’s hit or miss. I’ve tried 3 pairs of the same collar - one of them leaves a mark, and the other 2 have more space where the pin lock is so it doesn’t hit the bar at all. Just luck of the draw depending on how they’re manufactured I guess
This one are simply the best training collars in the world (for weightlifting), directly followed by OSO. Sadly in EU, we have only access to Eleiko (250€ competition collars), some OSO clones (but not as good) and cheap plastic collars. Every pair of the Rogue Alu Collars cost 80€ 😣
It is plastic...nylon so pretty stout. I've used these on a curl bar since the video and I've had zero issues. I do think LockJaws are a bit easier to articulate and slide better, but if you are after Aluminum, these will be tough to beat.
They are great! On the bar the Lock Jaw's are a little easier to articulate, but the Rogue feel more solid (both expected given the Plastic vs Aluminum). I held the barbell upright with plates loaded to test it and it held. Don't think you can go wrong with these. Since they are a small item, you can usually qualify for the "3 Ships Free." Another set of collars, speed ropes, or shirts/hats will make it all freight free.
smh it accomplished nothing in this video it would have been nice to actually test them putting weights on bar and turning it upside down to see hold strength

Did you ever find this out?

Saturday's video will be KC Tool Co. Haul #3!
Nice video bud
Is the locking handle on the ROGUE collar made of plastic or metal?

How did the collars work out?
