I love all the old omori music, it gives me that feeling of being in front of an indie game from 2014. You can see that there is a lot of passion, even from that early stage of development. It's also interesting how much the story seems to have changed during development. I'd like to know what the original story Omocat had in mind was, but i guess we'll never know.
There are actually some interpretations of the old, old concept art you can find! Don’t believe there’s a confirmed original story but it’s still fascinating.
Some of the dream music sounds as if it could be coming from a music box. With how much resembling there is in this game, if they were to have kept this music, there might have been some sort of significance with a music box in the real world too.
I don’t know why, but ‘Tense’ sounds like it had/has so much potential for the modern gameplay. I’m not sure what instrument it is, but it vaguely resembles a string instrument like violin, viola, cello but I don’t think double-bass, and seeing how these may or may not relate to sunny, they could have been used for a stressful breakdown or visual if it was distorted or toned down or up.

ok this music really adds a lot more depth to me especially with the images it feels I I kinda forgot about omori so thank you and also feels like there was so much more planned for the game, I really am interested in the unused content now.
i instantly recognized the first note of 8:38, i play too much omori sandbox... update: i no longer play omori sandbox nor am i apart of the omori fandom anymore, lots of stuff going downhill and its made me rethink my choices in life... waugh...
I’m glad these were changed, they either sounded too goofy, annoying, or were trying too hard to be scary and failed. The new Omori soundtrack fixed all of these issues thankfully.

I think all of these definetly have OMORIs Charm, but some flaws. Then there is Remember Me, which I think is a beautiful song, but is exactly missing that OMORi charm. It could've been used somewhere tho.
