55 kph on RS HS, occasionally, and only for few seconds. Usually riding at 45-46 (beeps set at 45, try to pull back when hearing them). That's fast for my age, you know? :D BTW, the Abrams is not "the heaviest wheel in the world" (the honors go the the EX2S with 47kg) neither the Commander "the most expensive" - there are at least 3 or 4 wheels more expensive, but not so common there. #deathwobble

Hi guys, to me the first Chooch's wobble case is simply due to his feet too much forwards on the pedals. Sure pads can help but with or without pads, the position of our feet is key but it is often neglected. You can see his feet way ahead, the toes on the air and the back of the pedal "empty". After minute 2:00, Chooch is having full control and there you see his feet properly centered on the pedals. Thanks for sharing, your videos help us all and they are fun.
yes 😂... I feel the same way bought a v5f and have never fell on that thing but my one wheel. nose dived to many times from shut offs not even going crazy fast. euc builds confidence. just sold both and purchased exn newest model so excited

Great collaboration from you 2. Chang with the sports announcer/broadcaster perfect delivery and Chooch with the excellent techniques. I enjoy your work fellas
I'm slowly working up my top speed by increasing the warning 5km/h each time I get comfortable at the beeps. Currently tilting back at 40km/h. The biggest factor contributing to #deathwobble for me has been tyre pressure. 30psi stays in control, 35psi is a bad time.
I actually fell hard for the first time on my V8F a few hours ago whilst going at about 32Km/h - riding tucked and then attempting to Brake normally… This sent me into a violent speed wobble which I couldn’t recover from! I Luckily I didn’t slide under oncoming traffic. I took a mildly bruised hip, some minor abrasions on my shoulders and ankle and also banged my head on the asphalt which luckily had a helmet on ! Could’ve been a lot worse!!! I’ve had my wheel for about 180Km now and that’s the first time ever that I’ve actually been thrown off! I've been riding up and down steep slopes a over uneven surfaces with zero issues! I’d say be very very careful tucking at high speed on a light 16 inch wheel like mine! I consider myself extremely fortunate!!
The Abrams is very prone to speed wobble because of the size and square shape at the top not allowing most people stand properly. I found a trick to keep it from wobbling .
My top speed on my new-to-me MSX 84v is around 25MPH, self limited until I gain rider skill. Coming from a Onewheel it's so clear how this is a totally new riding paradigm, and crazy how much more power even an "old" wheel has in comparison. Here's to hoping the weather warms up soon so we can get more miles in! #deathwobble
I am 54 years old now, was 5o then. Wheeling too fast, chased by dog.. and wind got my back. EUC's was top speed was only 15mps.. The wind sent me into a VERY FAST #deathwobble .. and .. CUT-OUT. Now.. I wear a chest protector ;) and ride a faster wheel. ** I only broke two ribs.. even if it was four ribs.. I'd still ride and say it was worth every rib. Best ride is always ahead of us.

Thanks for the video Jimmy! Wow, such high speeds! I've been riding a Onewheel pint for the past year and my top speed is 25 km/hour, not even coming close to your speeds. I recently got a mTen3 (thanks for your videos on them!) which I'm just starting to learn how to ride, but it's winter with snow everywhere so i haven't gotten out much. My top speed is only like 18km/h so far in an empty parking lot, but already lost control at that speed and had to bail. #speedwobbles
I've become convinced that all wobbles are from a lack of wobble-damping when trying to stand evenly on both legs. This summer I've been commuting daily with top speed exceeding 40 on S22, 35 on MSX-100V, and 31 on S18. Posture changes such as standing from seated or breaking are the most common times I see death-wobbles. This summer my worst was going from 30mph seated crouch-even-standing (wobbles began). From there I started breaking while it kept hitting me till I then committed to a left turn acceleration away from the approaching curb. With a seat 24" above the pedals, it bruised up my inner thighs pretty good (better that than a crash at 30 mph). :D
I’m 200+ lbs and my Sherman max got a speed wobble and bucked me off like a horse. Broke my left shoulder a week and a half ago. There goes my summer riding season.
#deathwobble My top speed on the Abrams is 43 so far. The death wobbles are solved during hard breaking by getting your butt LOW and BEHIND the wheel. Notice chooch got scared and stayed high, saving it by using the front handle, THEN dropping his butt behind it to kill the wobble. Can't blame him for not having the instinct on his first ride with it, he certainly would have it down before long though. You're absolutely right about taking it easy on a wheel until you're familiar with it.
Too much tyre pressure can do it. I put my S18 up to 35psi before a recent group ride and had to fight wobbles all the way. It got pretty dangerous on downhill and hard acceleration. Going back to 30psi fixed it up.
I got an Abrams 2 weeks ago, with the newer motor with the supposedly fixed hall sensors, updated firmware and this wheel is a fucking blast! But I noticed in the video that Chooch had a lot of tilt forward on the Abrams when testing it and he usually have tilt back on his wheels. Maybe that contributed to the wobbles, plus the absolute shite default pads which I replaced with Agro pads from E-rides now. Ordered a Sur-ron seat also that I will mount on it, since I do a lot of long seated rides..
@@michaelmercado1953 damn, that's a big wheel to learn on 😀 Think I got more than 3000 km on mine now and I got it in february. I mounted a SurRon seat so I ride seated 99% of the time. Try to go on 80-100 km ride every day.

Hey Jimmy, old friend here ( long ago told you about Teflon tape on bolts ) anywayz.. im curious for your honest opinion. Do you think a electronically capable person could mod a euc into a board stance ? I'd make the wheel smaller obviously. Kinda onewheel esque' I'm thinking a low-end model. Where would You recomend I begin destroying a euc? Summers coming... summer is time off and time on trails in mountains 100% for a few month :)
From my experience every wheel is different every wheel is designed different things that you can do on one wheel you cannot do on the other wheel it's just the way it is. One thing I don't like about all wheels is when they cut off. they should design the wheel in a way that it should never cut off, they should design the wheel where when the wheel hits a sit maximum speed that's it, it should never cut off.
Jimmy, you do you but I just wanted to say that the reason I originally subscribed to your channel is because you seemed unlike every other TH-camr. You were safer and seemed more relatable. In this video you’re sharing that you want to learn to how to ride chooch-fast (40+mph) and I took the beep part as you advocating that it’s cool or fun to ride the beeps on wheels. Not what I expected out of this channel and stark contrast to your older videos. Also disagree that every wheel needs power pads. It’s totally dependent on the wheel and style of riding. Look at your old 16s videos and think to yourself whether you really needed power pads. Not a fun comment to read, sorry. And like I opened with, you do you. Ultimately it’s your wheels and your channel and your time so do whatever you find most fun!
I appreciate the feedback. Just trying to learn and grow as a rider, but you are right, riding responsibly is of most importance! That Commander just kept beeping and it didn't even seem that fast though compared to my Nikola and V12.
39mph on my EXN is my current top speed.. only slowed down because I was getting the last beeps (voltage dropped a bit low and did not start my ride that morning with a full battery).. did not want to push it further than that. i am mostly comfy cruising around 28-30, otherwise. #deathwobble

Not bad for riding a month. Keep riding often and take it easy as it takes time to build muscle memory until you are capable of riding the wheel faster.
Top speed is . . . I have no clue since I don't monitor it. But I would venture to guess 30mph. Even after several years of riding, I still can't ride backward and hang onto poles at stops. I'll attribute it to lazy practice habits and only riding about once a week. But I still love riding! And yes, I've experienced wobbles, but not like what Chooch experienced in the video. #deathwobble

i'm not a high speed guy, the fastest i ever did ride was 45km/h. I once did hit a #deathwobble , but was able to recover from it by starting to turn a bit
I'm about to get an EUC so these pads would be great!
Coming from a OW and top speed is 19mph.
#deathwobble
What is the brand and model of your gloves dudes ? 🙏
Chooch’s channel needs the production planning of Chang. And Chang’s channel needs a personality like Chooch.
the abrahms specifically has more of a learning curve than other wheels
45mph #deathwobble
why does everyone put the stock begode pads backwards lmao even i did it the first time
I never get speed wobble any more regardless how fast I go. Experience will set you free.
You're speaking about Chooch, who rides EUCs daily and on single tracks. He's an excellent rider. Never ever say never ever.
Thanks father
28mph on my 16x. broken rib for result... amazing videos dude!! #deathwobble
LOL @ The Chooch and Chang show - still a n00b, only 14 mph top speed sofar
#deathwobble
Olá! Sou do Brasil.....gostaria de
Sabe qual é o valor ?
Por que eu amei e gostaria de ter um 😍
#deathwobble my top speed is about 25mph (40-42kmh).... I have the InMotion v12 for about a month as my first EUC and was able to ride about 180 km (110 miles) I a finally start to feel confidant on it, the only thing is when riding on the v12 I feel all the imperfections and cracks on the bike paths in Vienna
Not bad for riding a month. Keep riding often and take it easy as it takes time to build muscle memory until you are capable of riding the wheel faster.
@@madbikes thanks!
47km/h, love the feeling of the air flowing around you. #deathwobble
Protip, don't ignore the beeps. Okay I got It haha
Are ya in Lakewood? I feel like your riding in lake woods
Top speed was 60km/h on my Nikola+. Didnt push past that, instincts were screaming "nope nope nope" 😂. #deathwobble
🤣same happened to me on Test drive ......The begode just span out from me like trying to ride a python 🤣
No knee pads or wrist guards on ......😔
No pads on either 😞
THANKS PET 🤠
