Used to use music more heavily, but have been moving away from that unless it makes sense - like a montage with no speaking. As an editor, I'm also VERY aware of proper audio levels now. Thank you for watching!
Definitely interested in learning more about embrillance - - both the free and the pai version 🙂. I also feel beginners may benefit from doing in-the-hoop designs. Great video!
Thank you! I received my PE800 for Christmas and I'm trying to learn a little before I do my first project. I would love to see an Embrilliance tutorial from you...I love the way you teach!!!
I have the tiny 4x4 hoop brother embroidery machine and I just love it. I've done quite a bit of embroidery with it and I still even if I didn't have to watch it I would stay and watch it because it is just so fascinating to watch. I thought I had every single notion known to man but I can't believe I don't have a pair of those double curve scissors. Thanks for mentioning that they are in your Etsy shop.
More on Embrilliance yes please! Thank you for your videos they have been very helpful! Remember to have the presser foot up when rethreading or that plastic shield swings over and makes step#4 impossible. It took me awhile to figure this out.
When I change threads, I snip the old color at the top leaving a long enough thread piece to connect to the next color (I tie the new and previous thread together in a small knot) and pull the needle thread until the new color comes through the eye of the needle. Avoids having to rethread the machine with the new color. This has worked for me for decades. Just a suggestion, not mandatory to try💖
Thanks for sharing. I've tried that method of knotting the thread, but found it didn't save me enough time to make it worthwhile and on multiple occasions the knot somehow came undone while pulling the thread. It just wasn't for me I guess. Re-threading is the method I prefer, but everybody is different.
haha i can't help but laugh out loud right when you said that the mess ups tend to occur when you walk away -- TELL ME ABOUT IT. HAHA. No matter how many times I've practiced, think I can do it, think that the machine will be fine and opperate on it's own WHENEVER I get too cocky and walk away, SOMETHING goes wrong and I am FUMMMING HAHA.
thank you for the Great demo! You are one of my favorite sewing You Tubers out there, and I try to never miss a recording. I have that same design built into my older Brother 1250D (which does not have the color screen unfortunately). Are you going to incorporate this into a project?
I have found on my brother embroidery machines, if I use the thread cutter on the side after I load it in the last step before threading, that the thread is at a perfect length to be brought down to the back without having to trim after the first few stitches.
Hello! I love your videos, they're great for beginners (Like me!). I have the PE800 and everytime the thread is automatically cut at the end of a color change, I have to rethread the bobbin as well. Is this normal?
You should do some videos on ITH projects, they are amazing: Kreative Kiwi, Design by Juju (my 2 favourites), Kimberbell, to mention but a few, are good pattern sources
No, for most projects I just use white bobbin thread as it will just be on the back. Some folks use black thread if it's a darker background fabric. The only time I use matching bobbin thread is for freestanding lace.

Do you need to change the bobbins as well? Change thread and match bobbin? Thank you.
I have the same question…. Is there one bobbin color you should be using?

Does the machine stop automatically when you need to change threads?

Great tip!

Can you use a use a 6 by 10 hoop on this machine?

Do you swap out the bobbins as well?
