Seems like a lot of steps for new customers 2) What kind of content should live on your personal page if you primarily want to use FB to engage with customers via your business page. No you don't have to add them to your personal page SJ and you can use your personal page for personal stuff but if you've done a live or posted something that you think is valuable to help others you can definitely share you business page post to your personal page 😊

Yes, Facebook Business Page is important especially when a business wants to promote and market their products. Facebook Business Page has more reach compared to Facebook Profile. Great video, Tanya!

I had one and got locked out of it and due to a glitch in facebook , they lost the email account and remembered the number and the identity test, had pics of people I never met in my life so , lol, here today on gone tomorrow, wish it was as smooth as that.

Hi Hollie. I really don't think the page type matters much as far as engagement and followers...however, I do usually recommend a public figure page and having a personal brand. Hope this helps. Good luck with your page!
Question I'm a wedding & Commercial Videographer. I get videography Referrals from other Videographers from a fb community page. The problem is when a referral comes in I use my private fb page to send my business info ie website page etc. Why can't I use my business page to instead of my private. Help
In order to use your Business page instead of Personal, your referrals would need to be sent there so that you can connect with them as your business page 😊

Unfortunately, I still hear my friends say they cant see my posts as I create them on my page. My understanding was that if create a post on my page it automatically reflects on my personal account. In short, how do I engage with the public through my business page.
Hi Richard. Thanks for your question. If you create a post on your business (fan) page the post will only show to those who are following your page, and only a small percentage at that. In order to get your fan page posts seen by your personal profile following, you would need to share the post to your personal profile. You can invite your friends to "Like" your page, post on your personal profile to let people know you have a fan page, and you can change your work on your personal profile to show that you "work" on your fan page so it shows up on your profile information. Hope this helps!

You could create a list of your friends that you think would be interested in your page or who would want to like your page and you can create a post with you Page link and choose that friends list to send it to. They would be the only ones to see it. Hope this helps.

You can set up your page as a local business, or my suggestion would be to run Facebook like Ads and target the people in the specific local areas that you would like to create an audience with. Facebook has amazing targeting abilities that you should be taking advantage of! Hope this helps

Thank you! You should be able to. To share live video, go to your Page on Facebook for iOS and tap Publish. Select Live Video and write a quick description before going live.
Okay, so we have a page and I guess a profile on Facebook. When I’m in the groups and post pictures the people that try to message me get “couldn’t send” But if they click next to message there is an option to see our main profile, they can then message us there. How do you post in groups from the main profile of the business?
That's a good question. Some groups have their settings to restrict certain types of profiles and pages. Not all groups do but some do that, and when that happens it causes you to run into instances where you experience what you are dealing with.

I've watched so many Facebook marketplace business page tutorials and I've yet to find someone to address do I need a Facebook page if I am just reselling let's say vintage purses that I get from the good will.i I'm not a business per se I just want a place where I can have multiple items that someone can go to and see on Facebook. Hi Barbara. Welcome to my YT channel! First of all, you have a business. It might be small, but you are a reseller which is a business! In my opinion, yes, you can start a Facebook Page to list your items and to keep in touch with those that are interested in what you have to offer and have "liked" your page. You can even link your page to your personal profile in the work section so your friends can see that you have a page. You can also share your page posts to your personal profile every once in a while so that your friends see the posts too and may like your page. The username I want for my facebook page is apparently taken, but when I put the name into a full URL address, it doesn't lead anywhere. Do you have any advice on how to contact facebook and ask them to investigate and see if a user is still active (in the hope that they are not active and I can have the name) ?

You don't want to delete your Facebook profile... This is where everything is synced to. You'll have a profile and a page, Post personal stuff on your profile and business stuff on your page! Hope this helps
I was a bit confused as I got started. I created a FB business profile and filled it out but then afterwards instead of creating a fanpage, I somehow ended up converting this FB business manager profile into a page. Is this a problem? Should I not have done this? As a positive I am able to have a vanity URL for this business manager converted page however for pages I am not able to create a vanity URL. Please advise.
@Raya Shanazarian If you log in via desktop or laptop, you should see a section on the right hand side that says "Your Pages" I would click on your page and save to your shortcuts. The shortcuts are listed on the left hand side. Once you save to your shortcuts. On mobile, you can see your page listed when you click on your profile picturein the upper right hand corner. Hope this helps.

How do I get followers that aren’t my personal friends? I can’t just invite them from my business page can I? Hi Amrkan - you can invite people to your business page & I do suggest posting as your business page to provide value in other groups. You are trying to build a relationship with people who will fit in with your business/product or service.

Welcome to the TH-cam family Silmae. I'm not sure about making a Facebook page for your daughter. Is she not old enough to create one for herself? In my opinion, I think having a Facebook page is extremely helpful for branding even if you have a TH-cam account. They are different platforms. However, it is always a personal choice whether you create a Facebook Page or not.

The Facebook Business page will be Business only and since you are the one opening up this business page, you have to be associated with the business page no matter what. You may want to go a different route if you don't want your identity visible.

Sometimes that happens even to me. Try clearing your cache, cookies and refresh as sometimes that works but if it doesn't before you go live you can just let your audience know that you can't see their comments for some reason but you will be answering them after the live 😊

Yes, it is difficult to do. Facebook wants you to pay to play. You can warm up the algorithm by commenting and liking other's posts a few minutes before posting your own. Make sure your page is listed as your "work" in your profile and I do recommend sharing posts from your page to your personal profile every once in a while when you have something of value to share with your personal friends.
Hey hey Julius! That would be dependent on your preference. Just remember that your Facebook profile is for personal posts while your business page is for growing your business.

Thank you! You should be able to. To share live video, go to your Page on Facebook for iOS and tap Publish. Select Live Video and write a quick description before going live.

Okay, so we have a page and I guess a profile on Facebook. When I’m in the groups and post pictures the people that try to message me get “couldn’t send”
But if they click next to message there is an option to see our main profile, they can then message us there. How do you post in groups from the main profile of the business?
That's a good question. Some groups have their settings to restrict certain types of profiles and pages. Not all groups do but some do that, and when that happens it causes you to run into instances where you experience what you are dealing with.

I am not really sure whether you can promote your TH-cam on your personal page. I only do promotion on my business page. My guess is Facebook does not like it. TH-cam is their competitor. Hope this helps!

I've watched so many Facebook marketplace business page tutorials and I've yet to find someone to address do I need a Facebook page if I am just reselling let's say vintage purses that I get from the good will.i I'm not a business per se I just want a place where I can have multiple items that someone can go to and see on Facebook. I sell items currently on Facebook Marketplace but it's just listing one at a time or whatever. Hi Barbara. Welcome to my YT channel! First of all, you have a business. It might be small, but you are a reseller which is a business! In my opinion, yes, you can start a Facebook Page to list your items and to keep in touch with those that are interested in what you have to offer and have "liked" your page. You can even link your page to your personal profile in the work section so your friends can see that you have a page. You can also share your page posts to your personal profile every once in a while so that your friends see the posts too and may like your page. I don't use Facebook for personal chats or anything like that. The only thing I use it for is to create listings for Marketplace. So it's so confusing to figure out the way to sell my items. I don't know if I should just keep listing items one by one on marketplace or if I should create a business page or a shop. Like I said earlier most videos don't address this. Hi Tanya, great video. I'm an educator starting an online teaching business as a freelancer. The username I want for my facebook page is apparently taken, but when I put the name into a full URL address, it doesn't lead anywhere. Do you have any advice on how to contact facebook and ask them to investigate and see if a user is still active (in the hope that they are not active and I can have the name) ?

You don't want to delete your Facebook profile... This is where everything is synced to. You'll have a profile and a page, Post personal stuff on your profile and business stuff on your page! Hope this helps

I created a FB business profile and filled it out but then afterwards instead of creating a fanpage, I somehow ended up converting this FB business manager profile into a page. Is this a problem? Should I not have done this? As a positive I am able to have a vanity URL for this business manager converted page however for pages I am not able to create a vanity URL. Please advise.

@Raya Shanazarian If you log in via desktop or laptop, you should see a section on the right hand side that says "Your Pages" I would click on your page and save to your shortcuts. The shortcuts are listed on the left hand side. Once you save to your shortcuts. On mobile, you can see your page listed when you click on your profile picturein the upper right hand corner. Hope this helps.

Hi Amrkan - you can invite people to your business page & I do suggest posting as your business page to provide value in other groups. You are trying to build a relationship with people who will fit in with your business/product or service.

Welcome to the TH-cam family Silmae. I'm not sure about making a Facebook page for your daughter. Is she not old enough to create one for herself? In my opinion, I think having a Facebook page is extremely helpful for branding even if you have a TH-cam account. They are different platforms. However, it is always a personal choice whether you create a Facebook Page or not.

Sometimes that happens even to me. Try clearing your cache, cookies and refresh as sometimes that works but if it doesn't before you go live you can just let your audience know that you can't see their comments for some reason but you will be answering them after the live 😊

You can't completely hide it but you can go into your Settings - Privacy & update all of those settings.

Yes, it is difficult to do. Facebook wants you to pay to play. You can warm up the algorithm by commenting and liking other's posts a few minutes before posting your own. Make sure your page is listed as your "work" in your profile and I do recommend sharing posts from your page to your personal profile every once in a while when you have something of value to share with your personal friends.

Hey hey Julius! That would be dependent on your preference. Just remember that your Facebook profile is for personal posts while your business page is for growing your business.
