I sat in the workshop with the outstanding Stuart Dixon and put the LuxMaster through its paces. Playing a 54 reissue strat, through a 5e3 Tweed Deluxe, in the bright channel volume on 4.

this thing sounds really nice . i really like your work, to be honest with you, your work is why i even decided to try and make my own pedals in the first place. i still have a lot to learn but im going to try to make a point to point fuzz face in a mini 1590a enclosure. my first actual pedal today.

it turned out ok , it passes sound but i didnt wire in the foot switch correctly and my nobs effect the sound when off. worse the bias is really low even with the bias nob at max Q2 is only up to 3v.i really love this work and for the most part i enjoyed the whole process but trying to build a point to point circuit in that mini enclosure was a bit more complicated than i thought, it got me stressed out a few times . ill get it tuned up and working as it should but i wont be using those mini enclosures anymore unless i have a pcb lol. i have even more respect for Reeves Electro now. amazing work.

i have the Formula B rangermasters and prefer that one.

Not only does this sound stellar, but you're a wealth of information and a great teacher for someone who's learning this stuff and I thank you for that. I was going to ask if you'd consider doing a Rangemaster circuit video similar to your fuzz face one. Cheers :)
