Just found you! We moved to S Dakota, from Oregon, a year ago November! We’re near Sioux Falls & are currently in Townhomes (brought my mama, too) waiting to find THE perfect land😊. We lived 28 years on a farm in Monmouth, OR!

Just found this video! And you! Greetings from the Arctic Dakota, your NoDak neighbor! Hope you are settling in after a year and getting the hang of the prairie. It's a bit breezy from time to time, weather can sometimes keep you on your toes, and at least it gets so cold here that most gross, venomous things can't survive. I grew up in the Twin Cities and moved out here when I married my husband over a decade ago.... You couldn't pay me to leave!

I just found your video and I love it! We live in CleElum (WA) and I am enjoying following your brave new adventure! Question - why did you choose South Dakota and then why did you choose Yankton? I'm curious, because my mom was born and raised around Miller (Polo) SD and homesteaded during the Great Depression. I have always had a desire to move there with my family and now I can live vicariously thru you! Blessings!

My husband transferred branches with his company and we just wanted to be somewhat close. Homes for sale with 10-20 acres are very hard to come by here and we honestly just got lucky with a great location!

@@PrairieHeirloomFarm land prices have sky rocketed everywhere. My hope is that they will come down eventually.
