I just lost the headgaskets after owning a power stroke for a week, that tuner would come in handy since it'll be studded now 🤦🏻♂️ Love the show guys, keep up the good work!
Amazing how strong they are when the boat doing 10mph. Nice to see you not using them pain in the hand knuckle busters. tried them one year, after about 20 fish I said to self-give me my Shimono back, these reels suck.
Best practice is to maintain trolling speed with the first strike comes for 10 seconds to try for multiple hook up. The key is to then slow the boat to idle speed forward and straight. This keeps the lines all straight out behind the boat and allows you to fight the fish without the drag of trolling speed. We have managed many 50-75 tuna days with this technique. With the hand lines we never slow down.
We’ve done hand line fishing before as well and it’s an incredible experience! This tournament was rod and reel only though so a 50-75 fish day would have made our arms fall off!
NJ state record was broken this year, 78lb albacore. We've had an unusual amount of huge albacore the past few years 50 to 60lb mixing in with our yellowfin bite
Never fished for tuna but you boys make this look like too much fun!!!
It’s a good time for sure
Nice video! Trolling is fun but using iron is very productive once you get it dialed in.
Nice fish,good action! Great video👏🎣Thnks
Thanks for watching!

7:47 Shout out for Pete's Mountain Meats! When in Port Alberni, stop in. Wonderful people, excellent sausages and other meaty treats!
It's awesome!
Great content!! I hope to join this tourney some day. Do you guys ever stop the boat and drop iron on them?
