John, she is looking fantastic. I can't wait to see her together, in all her glory.
Thanks Steve 😊
oh WOW!! Blimey thats going to be a big model when finished...it's absolutely looking stunning with the engines in place and decks placed on board loosely, it's looking very stunning
It sure does. 👍
Brilliant video John looking great can't believe there are only 40 issues left to do. I hope they bring out titanics sister ship. Take care regards Rod 👍👌😁
Thanks, Rod. I wouldn't mind building the Graf Zeppelin, which is in Germany, as it looks brilliant with loads of detail. 😊
Marvellous work, John! Only 40 issues to go, can't wait for the Poop Deck and the transom and rudder! Here in Serbia we got only 36 issues so far, but I just love to watch your videos and see what awaits me :-)
Thank you! Do you get yours from Hachette also? 😀
@@JohnsModelmaking Yes. It's a little annoying getting the journal with google translated english 😊 And we had the allen key missing in issue 15, but they put it in issue 25 as an additional tool🙂
Excelent progress, John. In Czech republic we’re with issue 59 as of today. Watching your old Titanic videos and realized that you were at this stage 9 months ago 😮 Time is running fast and looking forward to see you finishing the ship still this year 🎉
Thank you for watching 👍😊
Nice John Nice really looks great. Can't wait to see it done.
Thank You :)
Does look great & I did the same thing this morning & put it all together can’t wait to finish it .
Absolutely brilliant John, she’s a beauty just hope you find room for her 👏👏👌👌
Thanks Peter. 😀Watch this space!
Looking great John
Thanks Geordie Dave :)
She looks fabulous. I am getting there with my build.
Thanks for watching 🙂
Merci pour vos vidéos même si je ne comprends pas l'anglais mais ça fait plaisir tout de même de regarder le montage du Titanic. ☺️
Thanks for watching 👀 🙂 subtitles are added. 👍
Looking good fella … Cha cha cha!
Cheers Nick! :)
Super structure in place.
Yes, thanks 😊
good vid nice build thanks lee
Thanks for watching Lee 🙂
Wow I am loving that model it is much better than the wooden one I started but never finished many years ago.
Thanks 😊
MAGNIFIQUE !!!
Thank you :)
Great vid nearly there
Thanks Eddy, it should be finished by November. 👍😊
Petit bonjour de France, Magnifique, il arrive en dernière ligne droite, j'en suis au numéro 88 hâte d'en arriver là, c'est vraiment un sacré morceau 😁😁
Hello, and welcome, thanks for watching 🙂
excellent build John, it looks fiddly putting the engine room inside, the real fiddly part is when we attach all the decks together especially putting the promenade deck on the bridge deck, i wonder how we,re going to do that with certain obstacles on the bridge deck, great video, its looking fantastic, be doing mine tomorrow
It's not too bad Dave placing the engines, but it's looking grander by the month. 😊
Carica altri video 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks for watching 🙂
Looks amazing. Good to hear the curve of the bridge deck isnt as pronounced now it was worrying me!
Thanks for watching 😊
WOW 🚢
😀👍
Molto bello
Thank you 😊
Yes
in malta we are still in issue 37 , there are some things that i found a little bit not to detail like the decking is lifting ,no hull rivets , side ship plates have seams , but overall i m happy with the build , well done for yours :)
Thanks, yes it does have faults but it still looks great! 😀
John she's looking superb, the only thing I noticed about the whole model in general, is it lacks rivet detail on the hull. They did so well on the whole thing I just wish they didn't miss those rivets. 😜👍
Yes, it's been said many times it's a pity but still a lovely model. 🙂👍
@@JohnsModelmaking I've thought long and hard on this idea, and it may work for those who want extreme detailing, to add rivets would surely give this build more detail, I've made stuff out of craft foam that involves adding rivets and what you do is you mix two-part epoxy put a needle into the mixture and then leave a tiny droplet on wherever it is you need to place a rivet, not sure how this will work being the rivets would be extra small but it's definitely worth a try. Because once the epoxy dries it becomes part of it and when you paint it over looks perfect.
am about 50 issues behind you John, am looking forward to starting myy Titanic build....I live in a caravan but need the space to start my build and when clear some space in the caravan, i have a spot for the build but need to find a place to store it during building process...especially when the decks look so big
Yes, storage can he an issue, have fun and thanks for watching 👀 🙂
Very nice ,looks good with the engines in . Sure is a big old girl .
She is looking grand. 😀
I wish they would gave us at least one row of boilers for the front to help hide it a bit more.
Yes, it needs something in there. 👍
Looking awesome John!!! Thank you so much for putting it "together", so we can see what it is looking like! Do you have any major concerns with the build or any gaps? We are about 10 stages behind in the US.
No major concerns, the bridge deck sits nicely in place, and the hull panels can be waxed later on to disguise the joints. 👍😊
John please will you do a video showing us how you wax the joints? I want to do mine but want to see how it's done first.
@jayrobinson7554 Yes, when the models completed, there is no point in doing it before as the yellow decal needs to go on.
any ideas how the decks are going to connect/will it be support struts or screws
Good question, I can only guess, but may just be sat on top of cross supports. 🙂👍
No yellow part ?
Not yet, probably a decal at the latter stage of the build. 👍
Nice video, I'm also building this model, the bridge Deck on mine is bad , doesn't fit flat, gap at the front and the back like a banana , I've written to Hachette and waiting for a reply , i cant see any way to screw down the bridge Deck once in place !
Send photos to Hachette if you haven't already. Thanks for watching 🙂
Yep I sent photos 👍
Just an update, Hachette are sending me issue 81 and 82 , hopefully this will solve the problem 🤞
Excellent!@@kevinb897
Next Thursday IL have issue 70 and 71 so 29 to go then IL have 100 in MaY I should be in the 80s question the 3rd deck do you think there is 4 pieces or the white long piece is the deck
The bridge deck is 3 pieces. 👍😊
@@JohnsModelmaking thank god lol now I'm excited lol congratulations on your titanic I no there's work to do on your 3rd deck well done those
Great build John she is looking brilliant
In romania we are at issue 11😢
Late starters or distribution problems? Thanks for watching! :)
Late starters for sure, like other countries
The whole collection is gonna cost me 2000£
Expensive hobby, but it will be worth it. 👍
Hello I just bought the Titanic build my question is how many stages do I get in a pack? The reason why I ask is cause I ask the world of Wayne and he said that I will receive 8 stages in a pack
Usually 4 if it's from Hachette, Agora maybe 8. My subscription is with Hachette. 👍
Mine is with Agora
@@JohnsModelmaking Hello I'm sorry to bother you but I just got my titanic parts today and I have some questions. 1 will I get some replacement parts for the forecastle? 2 if so what pack do they come in? 3 if I put the parts to the forecastle together when I get the replacement parts will those parts be easy to remove? And last question or should I wait to get the replacement parts before adding them?
@aaronvaughn478 Yes, you will get replacement parts, so don't glue anything into place. I can't remember what stage they came with.
@@JohnsModelmaking what kind of glue should I use for the Titanic
Omg its soo big 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
👍😊
