Fun fact: until 2004, certain rides in Linnanmäki used to have English names but they were all changed to Finnish ones

Interesting! I never would have known that since I didn't make it to the park for the first time until 2014.

It was so nice to join all of you on the two parts of this trip. Great job on all the videos to preserve the memories. Thank you Gary and see you soon!

Great to have you along for the ride Marc! Glad that your break in the middle was only a couple days and that you could come along for the Kolmarden to Finland stretch! Definitely looking forward to catching up with you again in the future!
And thank you for the video feedback! I appreciate it.

Thank you Perry! It was definitely missing you though, but we'll make up for that a little with the next series 😉

Great storytelling as always Gary. This trip looked awesome. While I had my own version of this European trip, you Buzzed Bars guys (and girls? however haven't met any of them in person?) are a great bunch. If I didn't live $2000+ flight away from any new coaster I'd join the club for sure.

Your $2000+ Flight Away comment made me laugh and cry for you at the same time. I don't think I can gripe about being in a difficult place to live as a coaster enthusiast the same way that folks from New Zealand can. That being said, don't hesitate to reach out anytime you make the trek over stateside! I'm sure folks from Buzzed Bars would enjoy catching up with you! I know I would!
And thank you for the video feedback!

I really don't want to be that guy, but man those pronounciations are just not it😂

Oh you'll never see me claim to be an expert in pronouncing Finnish names 😄

@@CoastingwithCulture You did a good job pronouncing them, and I'm saying this as a Finnish teacher! :) Great video, always glad to see people enjoying their time in Finland.

Thank you! Learning foreign languages isn't a huge priority here in the United States, and even I when I was younger didn't really put much stock into it. But as I got older and traveled more, I found myself wanting to at least try and learn a few words and correct pronunciations when possible. I might not get it exactly right, but I'm happy to try, and I appreciate your feedback! I certainly hope to come back to Finland again in the future.
