- It seems like whenever you turn on the news you see headline after headline about a mass exodus of people moving from California to Texas. I actually did the exact opposite and moved from Texas to California in Orange County/The OC. In today's video, I go over the reasons I decided to stay.

Great video and very accurate. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I love it here so much. All of the beautiful scenery and the weather alone brings me so much joy. 💜☮️
I grew up in Orange County. Then went to UC Berkeley for 4 years and then New York City for 6 years and came back to OC. It’s the weather. I love being outdoors. When I was young, I love to play outside, swim, and play tennis. It was cold in Berkeley but NY was so so cold in winters and the humidity in summers was terrible. I had to make reservations for 1 hour slots to play tennis. So I finally came back and started my family back in OC. I like to take my boys to the park. They grew up playing soccer, tennis, and golf most of the year. We had weekend trips to the beach. Santa Barbara and San Diego are 2 hours away. We would spend Saturday night at a hotel. Cost of living is high but you earn more too. Depends on the life you want to live.
Finally i see a video on the good side of California, I love Cali ❤ Waking up to Beautiful days and great weather most of the year is a dreamers paradise.
California deserves the love! I completely agree.
Exactly! There is so much that’s positive here, but most highlight the negative. Positive outweighs negative In my opinion. I too was so happy to see this positive video.
for the young people it is all pretty until it gets ugly
I like the heat so when I moved from NY to FL the weather change was amazing. I used to get so down in the winter i hated it.
agreed, cabin fever is no fun!
I like how ppl just talk about the Bay Area yet central Cali is hot as fk
You’ve got a really good point about being surrounded by people who really want to be successful. To be honest with you it’s kind of a double edge sword. You end up having such fake people that are just around for the check that it makes it not as pleasurable. Also, now that they burned down the blimp hangers I don’t think there’s a chance I’d ever wanna live there again. besides the cost of living and inability to defend yourself lol
Catalina wine mixer?
People who think the COL is higher in CA, bur they almost never take into account COL relative to income.
homeless age 14 to 24 there is 24000
A smart young woman, I see what you did there.
California is not a place - it is a lifestyle.
One that not everyone can afford.
The California exodus is a natural cycle that eventually will happen to all states. The boom and bust cycles are normal.
I'm not sure being surrounded by yuppies is the best thing for everyone. I moved out of CO because I wanted to get away from yuppies.
Totally get it. It's so important to find a community that resonates with your values and where you feel a sense of belonging. Props to you for moving to a place that fits what you're after in life. It's all about personal preference and I dig it for the career boost and the lively social vibe it brings!
I will take my advice from Elon Musk, not you. He made the move for very logical reason, you did so for feelings.
Congrats on being an Elon simp
@@JoshMedlinCongrats of being a Fetterman simp.
He didn't move, so there is that.
@@N1120A He moved Tesla out of Cali, and he has a home in TX. The only reason he stays in Cali right now is to make X a good platform for humanity.
@@chucklesthered2338 Tesla was never in Colombia. That said, they already had to move Tesla's most important components back to California, because they couldn't get enough engineers to go to Texas. Not to mention the cars are built here.
