    The deco line looks insane for a ready to wear shoe. Well done! Beautiful shoes all together!!

    I'm glad I stumbled upon this video! Tony and Dean, even to this day, seem humble as ever. And I don't believe I would have come across any of this had it not been for me looking up how to properly shine my dress shoes (and, of course, running into your various videos).
    Sure, it costs a pretty penny in order to obtain quality, but I believe that's worth it in the end; it's something to aspire for, as a graduate college student. Thank you for what you do to help keep artisan crafts alive, Kirby; it's something that needs to be cherished more. People never seem to cherish anything until it is lost for good.

    I have to thank you for doing this, breathtakingly gorgeous shoes! Pure works of art that are ment to be worn!
    Don't forget Jan kielman once you're in Poland! (They can do any type of shape, etc in a 5 weeks span.) Opting for a design you like from either gaziano or cleverly and giving Kielman instiructions on how you'd want it done with what materials etc. Im sure you'd be mezmerized by the quality work for the amount of money! Would be intresting to see your take on it!

      Yes, Jan Kielman is one of the finest shoemaking shop in Poland right now. Thank you for your appreciation. The best - and the oldest - shoemeker is master Tadeusz Januszkiewicz, though. He is 91! 71 years in the craft. My absolute favorite is atelier of Aga Prus.

    My first and currently only pair of bespoke shoes were made by Tony. He measured my foot in March 2006 and a second fitting was in October 2006. I received the shoes in February 2007.

      So did you only need two appointments with him? One to measure and one to fit?

    Can i ask how do you take care of the shoes you dont use?? How do you polish them and how often?? Thank you

      brush shoes off after you finish wearing them, and if you expect not to wear them for a long time, pop them in their shoe bags. Always with shoe trees inside them. Most of my shoes that are 8-10 years old still look like new because I keep them stored well.

      Shrink1061 how often do you condition the shoes in storage?? And did u polish them or just condition??

    • @1061shrink1061
      @1061shrink1061 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why would you condition a shoe in storage? I make sure they are clean, polished, conditioned before they go into storage and then just leave them. Unless you're talking about not wearing them for over a year!
      While excessive wear and repeated day after day wearing is bad for shoes, so is excessive time off the foot. The leather will dry out and become more brittle. Just don't leave it TOO long between wearing.

    I was thinking about getting a pair of these. But I bought a pair of John Lobb shoes instead. I have a question however, about John Lobb shoes. When I got them they had really short laces I don’t know whether this is normal and I have to buy my own longer pair as their lack of length makes it nearly impossible to tie a fancy knot.

      I've replaced all my stock John Lobb laces with Kriby's sovereign grade; well worth the upgrade!

    Kirby, Sir you said, quote - ''Here in Gaziano you have ... '' when the other owner is sitting in front of you whose family name is also a part of the name of the company. Gaziano & Griling.

    Kirby, I love your videos but I have to say I’ve a bit of a bone to pick with you because these g and g ones have probably gone ahead and cost me £1,500 quid...I’m sold on these guys!!

    It’s so odd to see my last have anything to do with buisness or reference to anything anyone else who has the last name to me and believe me there’s not a lot of us to compare to come last names can agree lol
