I will say this about Flus…. If we thought that Fields didn’t have the support around him… well neither did Flus. His 1st season we got rid of everyone in an attempt to tank the season… this past year was a drastic improvement even with all the injuries. I can’t call him coach of the year but he has done a good job with what he has.

Yannick is primed for a strong comeback year. Plus, he knows the defense and the culture. Bakhtiari !? Nah. To high a risk. We need another solid piece for the O line, someone who will be reliable and available for every snap.

Agree with the Bakhtiari analysis here. I don't think he can stay healthy at this point, but if he can and play at a high level for a couple more years then I wouldn't mind it at all. Move Braxton to LG. I'm already worried about Nate Davis' commitment to the team and inability to want to practice and help bring that SB back to the Windy City.
Baktiari rumors sounds like clickbait in the slowest part of offseason. It’d be like signing Odell - shell of former player in a position they’re pretty comfortable with.

I think signing Yannick Ngakoue will help the D line. He will most likely play hard to make up for last years disappointing season. He brings veteran experience who could help school DE's Austin Booker or the UDFA kids Jamree Kromah and Keith Randolph both who I'm rooting for to make the team or PS. Hope Poles and Yannick can come to terms. If the Packers are willing to let Bactiari go his best days are probably behind him so don't know if Poles will pull that trigger. But Poles is good at evaluating Offensive linemen so whatever he decides I have faith. For the O line UDFA Theo Benedet is intriguing as a project for coach Morgan and he is a beast.

Yannick is a good player, but the question is do we have younger guys maybe as good. Walker is at least on a similar level, and are they giving up in Dom Rob? Booker might be as good as well, and Jacob Martin may be better than Yannick if he gets back on track. I have no idea why we would pick up Baktiari??

@deontejohnson2225 i agree. Its not like i dont want him to succeed. Its just with the Bears track record at this position im at a "prove it" place. They are the only franchise to never have a 4000 yard passer in season. 4000 yards isnt even the standard for a good qb season nowadays. 5000 yards is. And theyve never cracked 4k? Thats aweful. Caleb is the highest qb prospect since Luck. I know this. I know Poles has done a rediculous job surrounding Caleb with tools to succeed. I just have this feeling. I hope im wrong. I pray im wrong. But within my lifetime the Bears have bombed at that position. Ive seen 2 superbowls. The 85 one i was too young to remember. They have still had great teams since then. But the best qb ive ever seen in Chicago is Jay Cutler. And it wasnt even the Cutler that was on Denver who made the probowl. If Caleb is a bust he will go down as biggest bust in NFL history. And if any team has the history to make that happen, it would be the Bears. Im sure i sound super pessimistic, but the fact is, im being realistic. I think he will be good, but everyone is thinking hes gonna walk into the NFL and do what the qb on the Texans last year. That was VERY ABNORMAL. QBS USED TO HAVE TO SIT BEHIND VETS FOR A SEASON OR TWO SO THERE CONFIDENCE DIDNT GET RUINED BEFORE THEY WERE READY. THIS IS STILL VERY VALID AS GREENBAY HAS STUCK WITH THAT BLUEPRINT AND PROVED THAT IT SHOULD STILL BE FOLLOWED. BTW. FGB.
