Hey Drift, would it be possible u add like at the end the overall plus nd minus of a class? Like say u get +30% from an attachment, and -20% from another so normally you would have a plus 10% overall(at least i think thts how it should work), but like even if its simple math like so but keeping up with 7 slots w a bunch of modifiers makes it hard to know overall results

Drift0r.... Please do not forget the damage drop off ranges. This is super important on guns. I know that the damage data is listed but the different ranges are not. We still need this data from you. Please consider doing the map like you always do. Please also do the wall recoil test. The need for these things have not changed.
Changing flinch to make it only visual was a mistake. Change my mind. If 3arc wanted to make a less random experience, they should have greatly reduce finch intensity across all weapons (except snipers)
Yeah maybe reintroduce the concept of recoil with a fatigue multiplier for holding down the trigger....oh and scale up the weapon sway. No point rating this game M...then making the gunplay feel like a kids wet dream. I don't like being babied by over zealous parent gen x.
By the way Driftor, the flashlights are not all the same. The 40% reveal adds a 'cone' around your view that auto marks enemies in a much wider radius. It is absolutely insane, go test them side by side.
I kinda wish they would just get rid of the mp5 entirely, it just really annoys me that this gun is always top of the meta in every game its in. I just want some more variety
The last barrel is sooo underrated. Pair that with a muzzle that reduces vertical recoil and then use the grip that reduces both vertical and horizontal recoil.

All these commentators out flash their thumbnail with "This gun is unstoppable! or "This gun just shreds" Yeah sure in the hands of pubstomping TH-camrs. Fun fact: that's not everyone. Brad, however, has taken the time to actually experiment with all different attachments to help the "not so dominate" population. Thank you sir! Glad to have in-depth back

@@inyaguts honestly with the low TTK overall really any auto weapon can be viable in a good players hands. Haven’t used it myself so I couldn’t say but every gun melts in this game it seems to really be more about aiming skill and intelligence in how you move
I feel the recoil nerf doesn't make this a laser anymore. My personal experience but the usable range is reduced considerably by the recoil alone, not even by the damage bracket nerf

This was the perfect layout for in depth in the future I loved it! Covered the basic and important stats and went on to give multiple versions of the gun for us to go for. Great content and I hope this is the way you keep this series moving forward
So now bullet velocity impacts TTK over range if you think about it. Not only are you losing damage over range but you also have to wait for the bullets to hit

I feel like the range reduction kind of defeats the purpose of having no recoil. You don’t need that much recoil reduction on close to mid ranges, but now your gun deals less damage on longer ranges so you don’t gain much of am advantage on longer ranges either.
I wish they'd stick with 100 health and have lower gun damage because I'm used to doing mental calculations with 100hp in mind from all the other military fps games.
I liked the episode! I prefer the focus on the classes instead of stats. Although Ace said that some stats are inaccurate, so as long as your cover those I'm happy!

I liked the episode a lot but I do wish you could provide the damage drop off distances for the different damage values for the weapon. Game stats only show the maximum range for the first damage profile and not the others.
I think as long as i'm learning more about the the game then you will be doing more than a good job on these videos. Definitely nice to see some change! Keep up the good work

The only suggestion I have is to show the damage ranges, you say that it does 32-23 damage depending on how far away the enemy is, but what does that look like in game? Apart from that I really enjoyed the video.

One of the reasons I did not enjoy MW multiplayer. Game isn’t fun when a sub machine gun shoots better and further than most ARs in the game. Atleast in Bo1 and Bo2 you could use any gun and still do fine.
Like the new format. Too bad these guns take too long to level up. I’m about to hit first prestige (which isn’t really prestige but that’s a whole separate thing) without getting a single gun to rank 30. Truly crazy.

I'd love to see a comparison of hipfire between MW and BOCW, I feel like it's less useful in BOCW but that may be because of the animations/movement in the older engine

2:26 sorry just gotta correct that tiny statement. Just got the KSP gold and I gotta say it hands down has the worst range of any SMG I have ever used in every cod since Cod4, MAYBE better than the scorpion idk. Don't let the burst fire fool you into thinking it might have some range, it does not. It has amazing close range though probably best close range smg in Cold War.
AK-47 can't never catch a break, every COD game favors low recoil and fast ADS time. Been in situation when I duel the other player and always ended up beating me with his MP5, even tho he scraped by with 1hp. The shot pointed at body shots where my AK-47 should prevail. I play on KB&M and I always make the effort at shooting center mass towards head shots.😑
Funny how subjective iron sights are. I’ve always hated MP5 iron sights-blocky at the back, the front ring makes it hard for me track targets that are moving-and this one is no different. Interesting how two people can experience the exact same thing very differently. Anyway, great video, looking forward to more In Depth this year.

Well you could argue it's that you didn't purely use 1 weapon imo the weapon leveling up is still faster than modern warfare which takes way longer.
Seeing you adapt and create a fantastic video still after a nerf only makes me love the content that much more. Keep up the great work I love it all

Don't let the burst fire fool you into thinking it might have some range, it does not. It has amazing close range though probably best close range smg in Cold War.

AK-47 can't never catch a break, every COD game favors low recoil and fast ADS time. Been in situation when I duel the other player and always ended up beating me with his MP5, even tho he scraped by with 1hp. The shot pointed at body shots where my AK-47 should prevail. I play on KB&M and I always make the effort at shooting center mass towards head shots.😑
Funny how subjective iron sights are. I’ve always hated MP5 iron sights-blocky at the back, the front ring makes it hard for me track targets that are moving-and this one is no different. Interesting how two people can experience the exact same thing very differently. Anyway, great video, looking forward to more In Depth this year.
You’re just bad. MP5 has one of the most iconic and cleanest iron sights in cod history, tied with the AK47.
