Carpenter ants are a species that can cause damage to homes. They are kinda like termites and chew the wood yet aren’t as destructive and don’t eat the wood. They produce huge majors and super majors which are basically like soldiers. Majors are no different from super majors except for the size and strength. Carpenter ants also like to nest in damp wood that is already chopped down. I hope this helped!
