Good list, Crystal Lake is an absolute staple for me. We are talking heavy in the rotation long before I even started diving into Japanese metal. And never feel bad for putting Band Maid on the list, those young women have earned their fandom. Not to mention hard rock is a smaller genre than metal these days so succeeding there just shows how versatile they are. 1. Crystal Lake 2. Dexcore 3. Maximum The Hormone 4. Nemophila 5. Band Maid 6. My favourite metal bands from Japan include Lovebites (has to be first, but I'm also a bit biased), Galneryus, Unlucky Morpheus, Light Bringer, Aldious, Sigh, Boris, D_Drive, Ningen Isu, Gallhammer, Flower Travellin' Band, Anthem, Bloodstain Child and X Japan. And most definitely not Band-Maid. But they are pretty good. Metalcore: Dexcore, Hanabie, Crystal Lake. Alt-idol groups: Broken by the Scream, PassCode.

Something to look at from the country of Finland... check out Wintersun. I think they are right in your style. I would start with the song Sons of Winter and Stars.

I know most except for two in your list Really liked Undead Corporation I searched your channel and was surprised not to see any Ladybaby reactions. You should check out some of their later stuff after they split with Lady Beard. Search for anything Lady Baby LIVE at EBISU LIQUID ROOM. Maybe a few of their official vids Starless Sky, Roit Anthem, Haten Raimei Their last show before they split. Far too many people dismiss them because of their early stuff but after I saw more of their vids the more I loved them. I think you'll like them as well.
Great list, all solid picks. Out of all those groups I have only seen BAND-MAID live, way back in 2016 at their first overseas shows in Seattle Washington (they filmed a video for the song Before Yesterday during the trip, it has concert footage in it). If you were looking to dip your toe into something a little different, I know a whole bunch of idol groups that are metal adjacent. No actual band but the music is very metal, or there are harsh vocals or very dark themes (like Lovecraftian stuff). Just let me know, I have suggestions. As for Lovebites... I find the bands the two guitarists were in previously much more interesting, but we all have different tastes I guess.
I do love all of them, the only mention i can make, next time use artist in place of band, becose BBTS as awesome as they are, they are not a band, they are a metal screamo idol group. Don't get me wrong, i love them, but if is a top about bands, put just bands, and if you just want to do a top about metal as a genre, including everything, bands, solo, artists, idol groups, vocaloids, doujin use metal artists and not metal bands,becose there are some "little" differences between them.

I don't really do top lists. Too hard. I can never rank one above the other. But there's two at the very top. Dir en grey and Versailles. One raw and visceral ignoring any rules, and the other pretty much the total opposite, a band of precision and beauty. Other bands are Kizu, Arlequin, Pentagon (not the boy band), Kebyo, Grimoire, Sound Bee HD, Ari, Nazare, Deviloof, Dimlim (Chedoara album), and a special mention to two new bands Rorschach and The Desperado. I can't put them in any order. Ningen Isu are awesome too... Non metal Ichika Nito, Senri Kawaguchi, and so many more. The Desperado is a definite request. Former guitarist of Deviloof, and they love reactors. Check out their song Black Chapter. It's insane.
Looking forward for Undead Corporation reaction🤘 It's nice to see my two favorite bands, Crossfaith and Nemophila will perform on the same day on that concert 🤘🎌 By the way Fumiya is my #1 favorite drummer from 🎌 Oh yes BBTS, love their new member 🥰
