“I call upon the maiden of the mist…Come, Undine!” Shame she doesn’t have more roles in SMT; Undine is one of my favs among the classic elemental spirits. I wouldn’t mind if we took out Aquos and his buddies in place of Undine and Sylph and just add Salamander and Gnome.
For me, Undine will always be more associated with the Tales of franchise, where she regularly appears as the Spirit of Water (or some equivalent thereof).
Tales of Symphonia was the game that introduced me to the word "Undine." I may not always associate that name with the Tales series since I haven't played that many games in that series, but I do have that series to thank for introducing that knowledge to me.
You could do the others like Gnome, Sylph and salamander (which my autocorrect keeps trying to make it salami). I think Gnome was also in Megami Tensei 2?
Ooh, learned something new today! In Lithuanian, "Undinė" means Mermaid, so for the longest time I was unaware that for most people Undines and Mermaids were, in fact, two separate entities lol
Cool to see these elementals gets some attention; Undine is pretty simple and lovely and her origin is neat. Sylph and Gnome are my favorites and 8td be cool to see all four get a vid someday
It's specifically BECAUSE she just got added to Vengeance that I want to hold off on her. Anytime Atlus actually makes new models for older demons, that demon will almost always have unique roles in every game they appear in for the near future as we've seen with Turbo Granny, Hare of Inaba, and Zhu Tun She
I'd like to say she'd obviously be in a Persona 4 Remake, but I can name 12 suspiciously absent Personas from Reload who would say there are no guarantees there lol
Yes, as does Alraune. I actually had a line in this video where I mentioned that, but I caught a weird flub I'd made on it during editing, so I took it out.
He won't be the next one because I plan most of these well in advance, but Seth has been on the table for a while! Seth is one of those unfortunate demons though because he almost always has a unique role, which means the video is longer and therefore harder to do. But I keep putting it off BECAUSE I know he keeps getting new roles, so I'm worried I'm gonna miss something good knowing his next big role is right around the corner. I probably just need to bite the bullet and accept that a Seth episode is gonna become outdated sooner rather than later.
I'd settle for all four avatar elements just having 3D models. I'm not sure why King Abaddon only did Undine and Sylph, but not Salamander or Gnome (my guess is because the former two were easy to create out of existing models, but there weren't other demons that would've worked for the latter two)
@@diaborodevil3161 Ah, my bad. Yeah, I think Persona 2 is the only game that actually has Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire spells with Magna, Garu, Aques, and Agi.
On the topic of Paracelsus im suprised at how these famed occult figures arent used much in the series. Like we have a bunch of Goetia demons but Solomon himself isnt really a prominent figure in the series
One final addition is that she, along with the other "upper tier" Elements of Gnome, Sylph and Salamander, are used to fuse Kinmamon in the SMT 4 duology. She's also the only Element race demon to transition over to the Persona series. EDIT: I am wrong, Sylph is also in Persona 4
I always debate whether or not to include ingredients as special fusions as part of their own game history. Like much more likely that's something I'd talk about when/if I did Kinmamon. She's not though. All four are fusion spells in the Persona 2 duology and Sylph is in Persona 4.

Her most recent appearance was in Undertale
I'll see myself out
Boooo!

This is a REALLY bad joke but… Oh look, it’s Slime’s hot cousin 🤣
I've seen way too many...um...things featuring slime girls, so I'll admit I'm a fan lol

Well seeing as she just got added to SMTV Vengeance recently how about an episode on Marici?

Thank you YT for this recomendation

doesn't her 3d model share a similarity with Cybele? thats wut i remember about her anyways x3 but she's a good demon to use!

I’ll say what I usually say we should have all four avatar elements in a persona game is there a smt game with all four avatar elements
