MH3 Changes BURN Forever? MH3 | Modern

Hello everyone! Today we are playing MARDU build which is basically BURN deck playing little bit more on the aggro side. Ditched burn (1 drop) staples like Monastery Swiftspear and Goblin Guide making this build a bit slower but with more dmg potential in the later turns. Trying to utilize cards like Guide of Souls and Sorin of House Markov together with Amped Raptor and Phlage, Titan of Fire's Fury. This build has 22 creatures which is a decent support for Guide of Souls which is also one of the biggest treat in the deck and we have lots of energy enablers. Gonti's Machinations on turn 1 is just absurb with amount of energy it provides for the deck. Eidolon of the Great Revel is just a really good card againts combo deck and storm decks and its basically a burn so we are running it. More about how deck plays in the gameplay below! wren & six seems like it works well with gonti's too, pick up a fetch each turn. i love all the decks. awesome work

I was messing around with Rakdos burn in paper pre-MH3 and have definitely been thinking about Gontis machinations knowing how easily it farms energy (the canopy lands are also great with it which burn normally plays 5 of anyways). Eidolon is well positioned in this meta for sure.

Rain of gore doesn't stop the lifelink from shadowspear because the life gain comes from the damage and not an ability.

I think i didn't mean to say it stops shadowspear, just mentioned it as cool antilifegain option if necessary, remebered it when i saw some1 gain life, bit if shadowspear is main way of gaining life in format then it is pointless, i didnt feel its neccessary atm.
