This might be one of my favorite tunes they've ever made, and I've been listening since Outsider. I spent literally an entire shift at work with this one on loop.
Found these guys playing a video game some 15 years back. Time focking flies. To be honest 15-year-old me couldn't handle the old vocalist so I left it at that. Recently found out they were coming to Porto Alegre, so I searched for a Playlist with their set on Spotify to check them out again. Oh boy, what a gem they are. This week the concert was. Kicked some good ass, that's for sure. Moshed most of it. Aaand they debuted this song live to us. 😊
Andrew stepping up to vocals was definitely nothing but a net positive. Some people hate on anything after scott wade left, and those people are known as a**holes.
I've been listening to CBK since 2008 and this sounds like a mix between Linkin Park and Rise Against but i don't care. IT ROCKS. Don't even have a problem on them going mainstream if that's the case, sounds better than most bands going BMTH/Architects/Bad Omens.
I hear you on that. These guys always bring the original fire and kick ass at every sound they try. I find most punk bands moving in a more mainstream sound tend to dumb things down too much, polish all the edges off, and end up with toothless music that doesnt really nail anything (looking at you AFI). Bands like CBK and FYS that manage to transfer the original magic to other sounds, I can dig that no matter what kind of music they are making.
Doesn’t have the kind of hook or chorus to really draw you in, the aggression to make you wanna rip down walls, nor a melody that really grabs you. Feels like a foo fighters/offspring mashup with screams 🤷🏻♂️. Top 10 hardcore band for me, but this is one I’ll be subtracting from the next album download. Love ya CBK
