you are a super mom!!!! i don't know how moms do it.... i've always wanted to have children, but am honestly scared of all the responsibility... and plus you're a teacher too. amazing!! keep it up. your children will definitely appreciate all your hard work if they don't already. God bless
I love your videos. Especially because it's not only from the teacher side, but a busy mom as well. I like your weekend prep. I've been debating doing the set out outfits for the entire week thing so I may have to implement that into our weeks as well.
Just like my house, here in Scotland , a month ago! My husband and I are both teachers and we have two teenage daughters , so back to school time is really busy! Thanks for your great organisational tips.
I love your videos. I'm going in to high school this year (sophomore in my district) and your schedule looks like it might work. Personally it would make me very anxious but that's just me.
I like your cubby for the kids! I used to lay out their clothes the night before but they wore uniforms so no issues with choice! Lol just noted your rules poster...you've got busy momma brain like I do! (Check ' checks' - 😀) Routines helped me all through my kids' lives and it's nice now that I can see some of it pay off in their own lives! Well done, Tina!
+Lane Johanson I live by routines. Maybe it is because I am a teacher and I have to be conscious to the time to make sure I get all the subjects covered in a day, but even during summer vacation I need to have a loose schedule for M-F just make sure things get done and I have a sense of direction.
Hi... at my school we have alot of events and fund raisers in which I have to collect money... what is the best way to keep on top of it and record of it... was just wondering if there was a better system to what I am doing
FYI It is very dangerous to leave a dryer on when your asleep or away from home as houses have caught fire before and some people have died from dryer fires. Hope you have a wonderful first day back at school.
+essentiallycreative I would never run the dryer while I sleep. As for when I leave, the babysitter is still in my house with my youngest for another three hours. So someone awake is present.
Hi Tina I could use some teaching tips for 4th grade I would like to get lessons done and I don't want the kids to talk I have a few thought that I would like to have some opinions 1.Warning 2.Time out 3.Stay in from recess and read text books aloud to me and have a call home saying that we were not quiet
The children will cooperate with you more if you have a rewards based/positive based system as opposed to a negative one like what you are describing right now. I was doing some research over the summer and I will NOT be using lunch detention or loss of recess as behavior consequences this year. Also, remember, they are children, they will talk, because they are children. Talking is part of how they learn and grown and develop social connections. In the first days of school you need to stress with them the difference between talking time, partner working time, and focus on teacher time because this is important. One of the best tools at your disposal is just walking about the room as you teach. If someone is talking put a hand on their shoulder and give them a smile, one that says, I see you and I know what you are doing. That usually refocuses them pretty quick.
+Jaclyn Rogerson My husband doesn't do much cooking other than lunchtime sandwiches. He isn't the best cook. But he does clean and help around the house.
+Corey Cartlidge If it is my arms you are talking about, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have had it for many years. The meds they use to treat my disease results in my skin taking longer time to heal. So every time I get a cut or scrape on my arm it results in scars. I admit, my left arm has a lot of scars. I have used different products to try to reduce the scars or make them fade but nothing has worked so far.
+Jaclyn Rogerson I have two boys who are in sports and various activities, plus towels for four people daily, and bed linens weekly, new kitchen towels and washcloths every day, and daily outfits. It is very easy to scrape together a load of laundry a day.
+Tina Bietler I hope that didn't come across rude aha! watching all videos and prepping as I am becoming a teacher next year. All the info I can get in prepping and EC Life Planners the better. Love from London
I'm a teacher, and I wish all parents were as on top of their kids' homework as you are.

Good Luck Tina!!!

I never leave any appliance like dryer or dishwasher going when I leave in case of fire.
I had this same one for my kids growing up. It save so much time. Then I knew what clothes to rotate.
