Since you said your towels aren't lasting or holding up - consider how you wash them! I'm not sure if you use dryer sheets, but if you do you should stop because that's one thing that causes things like towels to not hold up well. Dryer sheets coat the garment/towel in a film, causing it to lose its ability to absorb. Dryer sheets and fabric softener in general are just really bad for laundry, so I recommend people to stop using them. You can use something like wool dryer balls instead! And whenever possible, air drying your clothes and using as little heat as possible will help extend the life of your clothes.
