There's actually a longer version of this video on youtube that go's into more detail. It stood out to me that he said the mom had been abusing his brother since they were kids and then stabbed him when he finally fought back. It sounds like this "lady" has been physically and verbally abusing them their whole lives. I hope him and his siblings are doing ok. It's sad how many black children grow up in such toxic environments.

Half the culture is toxic and it's darn near impossible to fix it because those who are the reason for the toxicity think that what they are doing defines blackness. The only way we as a people can rise and build greatness is that we must divorce ourselves from these ninjas and let them destroy one another.

All of us in the LGBT community are raised with the same homophobia that everyone else is. Even when not exhibited to the extreme like this ‘mother’. It takes years to dispel all the nasty vitriol assigned to us and learn to respect who and what we are. It’s a journey but once you’re on the other side, there’s nothing more amazing than being at peace with and loving yourself.

Very sad however I’m not surprised. I wish that we in the gay community would stop using expressions like “ran a train on him” if there were two or three or more as long as they are of age and consenting, there is nothing wrong with being pleasured by more than one person. Whenever we say things like this we are adding to the shock and exaggeration that those outside of our community are bringing. These are three men enjoying intimacy and no there’s nothing weird about that!!!!

When people think of gays, they think of sex acts between males. It doesn't help that the majority of open gay males make video after video, glorifying casual hookups and bragging in explicit details what they did sexually. More gay people need to stop feeding into the stereotypes that being gay is just about sex, drugs and hooking up in a society where dis-eases and death is still tied to both. Nobody can tell your story better than you, so shift your focus on your humanity, your gifts, your talent and your intellect and that's when you really start educating these people.

I relate to this a lot because my mom is similar but we will never get the stage where she would even accept an invite from a husband of mine, she'd probably crumble the invitation and send me prayer messages. It's sad because I love her but hate what she stands for and it's making have toxic thoughts but seeing this video sort of inspired me to reconsider why I've changed for the worst the past few years and why I've become toxic. I know this is deeper than it needs to be but that's how much your coverage of this topic resonates with me. Thanks for sharing this Alfred!

@@TheAlfredPlatform Therapy & psychiatry are NOT the same. Therapists are trained to listen & lead a person to healthy clarity surrounding their issues. Psychiatry is for people who need medication to deal with their issues. A psychiatry appointment doesn't involve deep, meaningful communication, you discuss symptoms and and potential side effects of medication.
Insurance might pay for therapy (with a social worker or psychologist) but only for a short period (mine paid for 6 weeks) I had to pay out of pocket for several months.

@@TheAlfredPlatform It's all good lil' brother, not here to argue, but clarify. Mental health is stigmatized in the black community, so I wanted to shed light on the difference. Most insurance provides short-term treatment, but the trauma of black people comes from generations of abuse in and outside the home, and takes YEARS to heal. Insurance won't cover that.

@thealfredplatform I agree with everything you said on a general level, though let's look at this specific case. Based on this small clip. This mother has seen a video of her son having sex. I cannot think of any case in which a parent supportive of him being gay or not who would be ok with that. This amateur videotaping of sex acts, OF etc. has become pervasive. It's damn near reckless behavior. So in this case, I think the mother has a right to be outraged.

I'm not going to select a group over the amount of disgust with homophobia. This goes back to why so many people need counseling early on in life. His mother is clearly projecting her own unresolved trauma issues towards her son. I also hope her son gets counseling to help understand how to deal with her and not pass on his own trauma towards other people down the road.
