Since Meli's Ultimate doesn't lower but ignore Crit/Res Défense. Does he affect The One ultimate ?
If it affects him because Meliodas's ultimate does not reduce stats, he ignores them and the escanor's passive makes him immune to reductions, not to stats being ignored

Go for Escanor ult first...
Both Meli and T1U get a big bump at 2/6, though T1U's third life is probably more valuable, outside ult rushing. (Edit: misread Meli, no bump).
Both T1U and all the dark Meli's are insane, so worth pulling for.
Maybe try to get 1 of each and then pick your favourite to aim for.

purg meli is a seasonal character. you won't be able to summon him until next year. i guess it's pretty obvious
all meli needed to be better than escanor was for his damage cap to be always active like how the revive in escanor ult is always there even if you never ult

i think the damage cap ult is little bit usseles. cuz most of the time when u have ult with puga meli ur already under 40% health or lil bit more
Nope it's 100% helpful because if enemy escanor has lv3 AoE then it won't wipe the meli even with 2 attacks. And if meli is below 40% before ult then he can lifesteal. Merlin can't debuff him because he can clenge nagato didn't used cards before that's his meli dead against merlin escanor

The more i use meli, the more i think his cards are pathetic, like the ult is op as fuck, but his cards are meh without his buff, so first turn his attacks are ok but not good, but I guess that’s why people use Escanor with him.

Though his skill effects aren't quite as ridiculously OP as Scorch & Overpowered, +100% and double pierce isn't "bad", though Slash isn't great, I agree (probably because it enables Estarossa).

The main thing that changes is that kid Merlin passive he gets post ult, it goes from 70% (so needs to be hit twice at least to die) to 40% (3 times.) No where near as important as escanors extra lives
