      So glad to hear that Joanne! Honestly, I was a little nervous myself but I wouldn't definitely pick it up and try it. Just do a patch test on your arm first and then start with a few minutes at a time and gradually make your way to 10 min. The results are amazing..

I was thinking for the next routine for my mother to follow: Every morning: Buffet+ Naturat Moisturizing, Monday and Thursday evening Retinoid+Naturat Moisturizing. And Wednesday and Saturday evening only voicemail masque. Id like to mention that is the first time she is using a skincare routine like this.

    Hello, Thanx a lot for this informative video. I have rough to combination skin, this is my first time to using the ordinary products. I have some questions-
    At every night I'm applying Glycolic Acid 7% toning solution (which makes me feel a bit itchy) then Hyaluronic Acid 2%+ B5 after that Natural Moisturizing Factor+HA.
    Is this ok to use Glycolic acid 7% even after feeling itchy ?
    Or if not then is it ok to use other 2 products without using Glycolic Acid 7% ??

    How do I arrange The ordinary AHA/BHA peeling solution, The ordinary niacinamide serum, Cosrx salcylic acid cleanser and retin-A in my routine? I'm really confused how I should use them,when and how many times a week. It would be a great help if you can tell me a lil bit.

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Peeling solution should only be used once or twice a week but since you are already using a retin-a I would suggest using the peel once a week.. The Salicylic acid cleanser is ok to use with the retin-a but I wouldn't use it with the peel. I would definitely suggest picking up a gentle hydrating cleanser on the nights that you use your peel and retin-a.

      Yes you can use Niacinamide after the Glycolic Toner and it is safe. Some people find Niacinamide to be irritating but not everyone experiences that either. It's worth a try! If you have breakouts, Salicylic Acid is amazing but don't use it with Glycolic acid.

      that’s called fungal acne! you can treat it by using ‘Nizoral’, its an anti dandruff shampoo but has a special ingredient used to treat fungal acne. Basically you just use it as a face mask maybe once or twice a week, and you should see results. Dont rub it into your skin tho just leave it on for about 10 minutes and wash it off. Hope this helps!

      The Retinoid from the Ordinary will be less irritating than the Retinol but the AHA + BHA peeling solution and glycolic acid can be irritating on the skin which then could cause dryness.. I would go with a salicylic acid cleanser or even a Mandelic acid or lactic acid as these are not as harsh as glycolic acid and that peeling solution... Just make sure to moisturize and wear an spf...

  • @xfilesfan6593

    Thank you so much for yet another great vid. I have been using TO Retinol 1% in Squalene for months now as well as the DE Retinol and also Retin A Micro which is a prescribed Tretinoin, personally I dont think the TO 0.2% Retinol is going to help you much if you are already using other stronger formulations, that's why I started with the 1% one, to me it's a good formula, not as drying.

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your comment! I thought about that with the Ordinary Retinol but wasn't sure how how I would react to the 1% as my skin is very sensitive to Retin-A as well as the Drunk Elephant retinol.. I will most likely pick up the 1% as well lol..

      Niacinamide will be great as I do recommend that and glycolic acid will also be a great option as well! Salicylic acid is the best acid for acne and the Ordinary is reformulating it right now so you may want to pick up the salicylic masque to use one or two times a week!
