I'd like to sincerely thank the SNL, as I've decided to watch Downton Abbey upon seeing this parody and was not disappointed. It is now my favorite show and I would never discover it without this sketch.

Only people that watch the show religiously and thoroughly enjoyed the movie could pull of this skit accurately and I find that's what makes this so funny.

I realize it's "cool" these days to be negative and to trash talk; however, I must say that I thought this was hilarious and produced so well. Not only were the actors 'on point', but the technical/production team demonstrated such skill in combining an almost flawless merging of the actors with the actual backgrounds from the movie itself. I enjoy the great majority of SNL's skits.
I very RARELY go to the movies, but I might go see "Downton Abbey" because I LOVED the television series. Btw, I am black, so this is about RELATIONSHIPS and FAMILY, and anybody can relate to that regardless of RACE, people.👍👍👏👏😀😀

Jobu Cats With the exception of the Butler, Carson, wearing gloves, all was well. Valets and certainly footmen wear gloves, butlers rarely do.
