Racism is quite different from prejudice/discrimination. Racism is a heavy word. You would not find a lot of racist Filipinos, maybe none. But in terms of prejudice, you would find some, but it is a short-lived attitude. Once they get to know you, they would warm up to you and treat you well.

C'mon man. You're one of those filipino who think they're smart but instead you're an epitome of why filipino english misconstrued every english word. Prejudism, discrimination, is another form of racism, they just have different context. When you said "you wouldn't find a lot of Filipino racist" we have a lot, between tagalog who look down on bisaya, filipino Chinese, who think filipino steals from them I can go on and on. But, towards foreigners, I can say filipinos are not racist towards them, they're just IGNORANT.

When I was still a student in Medicine way back before the pandemic here in the Philippines, in our batch half of the class are foreigners, more of Indians, then Nigerians, we also had 3 Japanese, 1 Chinese from mainland China and 1 student from Turkey. It was a great experience on how to be with different nationalities but after 4 years we eventually got know each other better and became more open to one another.

Two of my best buddies in my primary school were Indian nationals. We've been companions for the entire school year when we were in the 6th grade. After more than a decade, it's nice to see one of them working around my workplace. The closeness was still there! It shows that we had a good childhood in school! Hope that my kids will have Indian friends as well when they grow up.

Filipinos are NOT racist. Its just were not used to seeing foreigners (in most non-tourist location). Our attitude towards foreigners is combination of enthusiasm, awkwardness, and a welcoming attitude. We filipinos are know for our hospitality. We do not see foreigners in the same manner that black americans see white dudes or muslims wearing hijab. Our muslims communities are peace loving. In fact alot muslim women dont wear hijab.
