What's kind of weird is that Stain's ideology doesn't just affect those aligned to those of a villain. It affects in general views of the public to the point that even some (not all) teens around thought that "Oh, Hero Killer has a point. Heroes for fame is not so cool" or "Oh, he's not TOTALLY Bad after all. He's just feeding us the idea of a true hero" and overshadows his twisted deeds. Some people kind of forgot that he's still a villain even though he's morally right about his ideology. (The idea of true heroes not killing fake ones).
That’s true even irl. Most people I see talking about Stain call him an anti hero and forget that he literally is a serial killer who killed the good guys just cause they weren’t the perfect hero. That’s the power of charisma ig.
One For All is All Mights quirks name. All For One is the name of the mystery guy's quirk they were talking about. The names are similar, but reversed, so it's easy to confuse em.
The "All for one is moving again" line doesn't mean he is literally moving, like worm or something. It means he is "making moves", taking action, coming out of hiding, etc.
And "One for all" is All Might's Quirk. A easy way to remember is "One for All" means being selfless for others, while "All for One" means selfishness at others expense
Stain's ideology really shook something inside people and spurred a lot of them to action. As for the burnt guy and the crazy looking blond girl, you'd be surprised at how many people simp over them. The League is getting plenty of new members. Wonder how Shigaraki is going to feel, getting upstaged by this guy and then getting a bunch of members who worship him.
All might hairs was a one time thing. All might doesn't have one for all anymore, deku does. All might is using the left overs of the power, but deku would be the one who passes it on
In theory, they were supposed to report Stains's presence to a pro-Hero and let them handle things. But this plot point is pretty contrived, imo. Self-defence is a thing, and I don't see how Quirks change that. From the moment Iida walked into that alley, had he, Deku and Shoto not acted the way they dod, Iida and the first downed Hero would be dead, at least. Stain wouldn't let them just quietly walk away and call a pro.
Well it’s an giant umbrella of a rule, but it doesn’t cover any and every possible outcome. Obviously no one is faulting them for saving the 2 even if they technically broke the rules. Self defense with Quirks is really only different because In our world you can’t “accidentally” level a city block in self defense, it’s not a case to case basis but it really can’t be when Quirks are involved
The big 'issue', as far as I can see anyway, is that this isn't self defense. The USJ, for example, is. In the USJ, the villains came to the heroes and as students with no license your immediate reaction should be to run away. They tried, the villains didn't allow them to run. So then, with no option, they used their quirks to defend themselves. Nobody got in trouble. In this case however, Stain didn't go to any of them, they all went to Stain. Iida went to that ally 100% with the intent of fighting Stain, leaving a pro-hero to do so, in his case not self-defense. Deku also went to where he knew danger was, so no-longer self defense. In Deku's case, his mind at least went to the correct area of "Run", but he couldn't run since Iida AND Native where here and he couldn't bring himself to leave one behind. And Todoroku alerted a hero as he should, but then went off anyway without a heroes okay, so not self-defense in his case either. The reason this episode is so controversial is because our cast are main characters who did this perfectly because the plot deemed it so. Nobody died, minimum damage to property, and captured the villain. But praising them for this when they shouldn't have gone here in the first place would just encourage every wanna be hero to "Break the law, it's okay if the results end up perfect". The alternative is that Native dies because neither of these students show up, which is why people get upset. But it doesn't change the fact that they broke the law to achieve that perfect result, and is why the captain doesn't want to label them are crime breakers. Basically a lose-lose. Break the law and fight stain, or let Native die. Though I suppose Iida could have told Native that he sees the hero killed, instead of charging in himself, Todoroki doing the same with endeavor (though Deku) wasn't very specific and just sent a location, etc.
Wasn't self defence tho... Iida: Went for revenge=not self defence. Deku: Went to do hero work without a license(Hero work as in saving people/Iida)=not self defence. Todoroki: Went to help/save Deku in response to the location text=not self defence. Todoroki is also the only one who actually let a pro know, so i'll give him points for that, but in no way was this self defence as they all sought out this fight by themselves for various reasons (revenge, saving people, helping a friend etc). It would be the same as if fresh-out-of-their-teens police students (In my country there's a several year long school to become a police officer, don't know how it works in the states) went to where a known dangerous criminal was, and proceeded to severly and dangerously injuring said criminal without permission to even do that kind of work yet. I seriously doubt any sane person would argue that because the criminal they sought out fought them, it was self defence.
... Ladies I think you are confusing all for one and one for all. All for one has begun moving again, one for all is all might's quirk. They're different you know!
Hey guys! Lovely reaction as always! Just wanted to point out cause it seems like you guys may have misunderstood (a problem I found often watching the sub over the dub), Gran Tarino said "All for One" is moving again. Not "One for All".
Easy way to remember their quirk names is the famous saying "One for all, and all for one!" while picturing All Might and AFO respectively. Keep this saying in mind and it gets easier to remember. Like going through the alphabet in your head to remember what letter comes after G or Q
Amazing reaction as always Morgan and Sam, I was wondering if either of you are interested in watching Arcane, it's got phenomenal writing and the visuals are next level with only 9 episodes, and I'm curious to see what the pack thinks about it, much love.
One For All is the name of the quirk All Might passed on to Midoriya, Grand Torino said All For One is the name of the villain that injured All Might and killed the user of One For All who gave it to All Might
I've always hated the police chief in this episode. That argument "It's ok to break the law just because it works out in your favor?" is so stupid I can't stand it. Yes, when it is literally lives on the line, it is ok to break the law. That is exactly what self defense is. You can be excused for killing or hurting somebody in self defense. If a house is on fire, you can be excused for breaking a window to save a baby. The fact that they were lectured at all, and in danger of being in trouble, it inexcusably stupid. On top of that, the idea that people are restricted in using their quirks by law is unacceptable. Quirks are part of their body. Imagine the government telling you that you couldn't use your right arm for anything. Or that you always had to have one of your eyes covered. And you needed years of training and a special license in order to use those body parts.. It is the same thing.
The fact that Iida willingly went to fight and kill Stain without any backup contradicts your point. It was Iida who went to kill him and not even thought to save Native. Also, Todoroki easily could have asked endeavor or other heroes to come with him if he had doubts about Midoriya being in danger. They all acted themselves instead of informing pro heroes. One thing I hate about fantasy and superpower shows is that heroes always goes out of their way, taking unnecessary risk instead of asking for help. And they are later praised for their stupidity.
@@shauryadeshwal7368 Wrong. 1. Iida never said anything about killing Stain until Stain already had Iida on the ground with a sword through his shoulder. Until then, all he said was that he was going to stop Stain in his brother's place. 2. Who says backup is required for anything? This makes no difference. The longer the heros dilly dally around looking for backup, the more people get murdered by the psychopath. 3. If Iida had not found Stain and attacked when he did, then the hero Native would have been killed and Stain would have gone to kill more heros. Regardless of whether Iida thought about saving Native, the fact remains that he DID save Native. He SAVED Native. 4. Todoroki did ask Endeavor to send backup. And in doing so he got permission from his hero "employer" in that Endeavor did not stop him from going. 5. Endeavor couldn't run off with Todoroki because Endeavor was busy fighting nomus. And if he had taken anymore time getting to that alley, then Midoriya would have been killed. 6. Yes, they all acted themselves. So what? In emergency situations you HAVE to act and save yourself. It is like the old saying goes, when seconds count, the police are minutes away. It is the same thing in the MHA world. You can't just count on heros always showing up to save you. You are responsible for your own safety. The police, fire department, and "super heros" are there for when you can't do it yourself, IF they can manage to get there in time. 7. It is the heros job to go out of their way and take risks. And those risks aren't unnecessary because they were needed to get the job done. And keep in mind, if heros are always constantly asking for help from other heros, that keeps the heros bundled together, meaning fewer are available when multiple incidents happen at the same time. Plus, if a hero asks for help before even going to a scene, they could be taking 3 powerful heros somewhere that is a false alarm, or a very easy case, wasting all of their time and effort, and possibly leaving a more dangerous incident to unfold with no heros around to help.

well society and law-wise he's considdered as a villain, since he commited crimes, and used his quirk without permission
Gunhead is one of my favorite side characters. Just a big, burly martial artist named Gunhead that blushes when he asks if it’s Uraka’s boyfriend.
also, he trained Uraraka for just one week
