    ik its been 5 years if you can make a lot more vids detailed like this . tutorials for this bike are very rare even on forums . and the manual was vague so it would help a lot for those of us that own and work on our 929s . thanks

    Love the video! One question is why do you unplug the pulse generator? also my clutch works fine. Doesn't slip or anything. But I've noticed a rattling noise becoming slowly louder over time. So if I'm driving and let off the gas it rattles. Once I give it gas it goes away. Itl also go away if I pull the clutch in or put it in neutral. Any ideas?

    What fluid did you use to soak the clutches in and what kind of sealant did you use for the case? Going to do an Clutch on my 2002 CBR 954RR and any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Having an issue with this clutch for my 954rr, I can’t figure out which of my friction disks go last. In the video it says the out green one but I don’t have an outer green one. Can you specify what you meant by that? Does the kit come in the same order it should go in?

    What are your thoughts on replacing the pressure plate? Thought I felt some slip on my second last ride about 150miles long. Took the Blade out yesterday n clutch is done for sure maybe 20 miles total and slips like crazy couldn’t really get over 60, I basically got out and came back in. I know in a dry clutch you always replace the pressure plate.
    Please let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks

      @PartzillaParts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't have to unless there is significant wear. Inspect the plate and basket. Otherwise, just do the discs.

    I used this video to change my clutch, but when I took the final plate out, a large convex washer thing was stuck to it and tell out. I didn't see how it was originally in there and can't find anything online about how it should go in. There's also a 22mm nut that holds the outer clutch pressure plate in that I don't see in this video. Maybe I didn't need to take that off.
    Anyway, now my new clutch, a Barnett performance one, slips like crazy. Many feedback or advice?

    I bought the EBC SRK kit for my 954rr there is no green clutch plate to go on last like in the video? Does it matter which goes on last? And in the video when he takes of the pressure plate you can see the last disk is on one notch to the left on the basket, for the stock plates. Should I install the last plate ..one notch to the left aswell.? Only one disk of all in the kit is narrower than the rest that one goes on first?

    What is the point of disconnecting the ignition?

    • @PartzillaParts
      @PartzillaParts  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not the ignition, the pulse generator sensor cable.

  • @GeorgiaGrowGuy

    Why the fuel tank and wiring disconnect?

    • @PartzillaParts
      @PartzillaParts  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fuel tank gives you access to the area. Disconnect the pulse generator wire so you can pull the clutch cover off and set it aside.

      If the bike is due for a filter change, you can do it at the same time. That just wasn't the focus of the video.
