This happened to me in Kuwait City in 1990s . I was invited randomly to a BBQ and many hours later with his family. I knew no Arabic and there whole family knew little English but we understood each other . I treasure that moment forever . Great video
Actually a plurality of lebanese can speak english it's just in some less developed areas they aren't taught english in schools but we usually do speak a comprehensible english. Thanks for visiting us. Love from metn!!
Im from baalbeck(or what you call it less developed area) and i speak 4 languages it has nothing to do with areas, and for your informations all schools teachs english and french in lebanon, even the poorest one.plus its not a shame if some one dont speak english or another language, most of americans and europeans dont speak other than their language.lebanese are the only people who have this inferiority complex btw
Thank you Emily for your videos, it has been a year since I began to follow you. Thank you for your entertaining videos. I though you shot 3 or 4 videos about Lebanon but it seems that it's never ending 😍. As a Lebanese we hope you didn't get any troubles or things that made you hate this county. We're waiting your videos in Tunisia where you are now. All the support ❤❤
nice vidoe i like always ur contect keep it up , i liked the time ur in the house and its embaresing to talk to them and 80./. of the arabic words u dont know but pretty nice content
ooohhhh, there is a well-paved road that leads you to this pyramid, from the main road it’s around 200 meters to get there 😂 but not bad for an off road experience 😆
I don't understand why they thought you guys were from Spain then mentioned Messi ( which is Argentinian lol). This was a unique, slightly awkward but nice.. I think in that region of Lebanon, people would be sacrificing a lamb for guests..
My employer is Lebanese. He always asking me to come with him every time he wants to go home but I always refused. I don't know why i don't feel that interested to visit there. Your videos gave me in depth look of the country. I might come visit someday when the situation is better. Someone told me, one shawarma has got everything your body needs 😁
@@20CamelsEmily thanks l have it ,l thought there might be a better one.....l could not stop laughing when l saw him driving your car 🤣 it's such a blessing when you take a chance and then see you at the end capturing all of them with thanks, that would feel great and gaining more confidence.
Hey! could you guys let me know where you were driving around 6:25? That area looks really nice and would like to visit. Just let me know if it was north, middle or south of the orontes river, and more pinpoints if you could. Thanks!
That’s the true meaning of ignorance and prejudgment. Baalbeck and alhermel are full of sights , landscapes, adding the Roman Empire remains and castles.. the al assi river .. and before all that, the people of that land who welcome everyone! .. but no surprise we know it’s a media propaganda . Proud baalbacki guy was here!
Note: *This video was filmed in 2021*
That's why everyone is being so strict about COVID measures, and why "corona" is mentioned so often.

the hills remind me alot of palestine, its so sad that i cant go to my homeland, tho we can enjoy lebanon, the levant is so beautiful
Inshallah soon we can all enjoy it ❤️
I love Palestine 🇵🇸
Love this. I'm from south Lebanon. People of Baalbeck are known to be the most generous and hospitable.
Thanks from Manchester, UK!
But not very respectful to the ruins with the graffiti
What a wholesome video! Lebanese people are so welcoming. Hope I can come to Lebanon soon!
They really are! No matter which part of lebanon you go to, you’ll find people like them. I hope you have a great time when you come 🙌🏼🇱🇧
Loved the video, love from Saudi Arabia

Haha 😆 I also thought that was random and funny. I still don’t know what got them thinking we were Spanish in the first place
Messi used to play in Spain with Barcelona thats why but since 2021 he got transferred to PSG in French leauge

This region is dangerous, full of outlaw and drug dealers.
As lebanese, we do not dare to go there honestly and plus there are not that big things to do there
Why you dont dare to go there??there are alot of things you can do there but clearly u know nothing about it
are you even lebanese bro ...
