Cry for me was not even released at the time of this performance, twice fought jyp just to perform this song at 2020 mama and give something new to onces, queens indeed.
Cry for me is the last part of their 3-Song performance in MAMA 2020. it was More and more - I Can't stop me - cry for me. Cry for me was added as a surprise to fans. and No green screen was used in this performance. 😊 I Recommend watching Twice 2018 2019 and 2020 MAMA FULL perfomances. 2018 performance made me a ONCE.
True. It was a Full LED Room that orients the graphic with the moving camera making the illusion of a blue/green screen type set although everything is practical. Similar to how the Mandalorian series was shot in a similar room and setup

This was filmed using the same modern LCD wall/floor/ceiling “rear projection” technique as Mandalorian, which allows for dynamic camera-correct perspective…but whose constantly shifting patterns can make the performers nauseated. So kinda like green-screen, except the backgrounds are already filled in during the live filming, rather than filled in during post-production.

Cry For Me in MAMA 2020 is kinda like the MV? Since they literally released it there without announcing anything beforehand. We were all SHOOKED. 😭 Since Jeongyeon was on hiatus, we could finally see a CFM performance with all the members last month for their tour in USA.
Also it's funny bc it's the only TWICE song that has a Korean, Japanese and English version but not official MV at all.
