I love waking up in the morning and getting hit by the full glory of Prelude 1
Great
20:45 - XIII. Allegretto is my favorite, I don,t know why, its just, kind of soothing in a way. Like elevator music but actually interesting.
I think this also has a rhythmic resemblance to the second movement from piano concerto 2
Wow, another upload of the pieces!
literal saviour. Thanks a lot!!
thanks for posting, very good
36:50 Motive Force, anyone? (An earlier piece by Kapustin)
Thanks for posting! Makes me wonder who proofs Schott's Kapustin scores, though...notice the G natural in #9, m9, LH. I've already reported to them a problem with their printing of the 4th Sonata (and got a nice response saying they'd take care of it 🙂).
Good catch! It’s been fixed in my copy
May I ask which Schott edition is it, which year? In my Schott edition from 2017 this note is a g-sharp
This first Schott edition of Op. 53 was proof-read by NK himself. Unfortunately, his health had started to fail at this point, so understandably he did not catch every mistake. More recently, Schott editions are being proof-read by Masahiro Kawakami.
Hey mdr9999 are you going to upload the preludes and fugues? There’s already a score video but for whatever reason they’re in the wrong order in the video on top of the fact that there are no timestamps.
Absolutely, the score-video of 24 Preludes and Fugues, Op. 82 is working in progress.
@@mdr-bs8jy you're absolutely fantastic, hats off for you.

0:45 reference to the first concert etude? Nicknamed “prelude” by kapustin?
Schott 版本 其實蠻多錯誤的........ QQ
OP, can you share what edition of the sheet music this is from? I have the Pryhthm editions from Japan and they lack the fingerings, would be good to have another edition to compare 😇 thanks
This is the Schott edition.
@@patricklynch5383 Thank you!
31:11 start sounds like the start of his 6th sonata lol
What program did you use for doing this piano score?
Adobe Premiere
9
All your timestamps are like 5 seconds off btw
I’ll fix them as soon as possible.
@@mdr-bs8jy thanks best score video yet. Are they from musescore?
@@tubularvelociraptor6388 Thanks, I guess it was engraved by Finale.
They are all fixed now.
