This is playing with my heartstrings. I played this game on and off for a couple years while I was starting highschool and Keira was the first girl I married. I only got to know about her because a friend at the time told me "Oh you remember that girl that gives you the sword? You can actually marry her!" I look up for a guide about marrying in this game for the first time and oh boy was I surprised just how convoluted it was. I loved mining in this game, so I took it as a nice and slow challenge I did over the course of a summer. Once I managed to marry her... I was so incredibly sad to see just how little she interacted with the rest of the world. My innocent ass wanted her to just go outside and see hows life outside of the cave. I remember wishing with all my heart and looking for information about how to do what today would be called a mod, but of course a teen like me in 2009 was not going to get very far in that department. I was heart crushed and eventually I dropped the game, which I would pick up in a new save a decade later. What I want to say is this is the one fictional character that has ever make me feel something. After her I just can't take any "bachelorette" in any other game of any kind seriously. The simplicity of her tragedy and the lack of anything about hit me so hard that whenever I see some other marriable character with a sad background I cant help but laugh because it just doesnt hit. And looking for a soundtrack the other day I find your channel and I find out about Harvest Moon DS speedruns, a community so niche I did not think it could exist. And the cherry on top is the profile picture of the chanel and then finding out about this particular video. Thank you so much for what you do, its hearthwarming to see someone keeping the game alive in some capacity. Congrats on your records, I still have to listen to most of your videos but I already love them.
I never got married in this game because I never wanted to put in the effort to find the Harvest Sprites lmao. Wish these speedruns had existed when I was smaller. (Then again I probably wouldn't have been smart enough to know what a speedrun was...) Love your content. :) It's always cozy having your streams on in the background while I draw.
How do you only have 671 subs when you do amazing stuff like this?! I grew up playing harvest moon ds and recently got back into it and found your channel after looking for the easiest harvest sprites to get. Takes me waaayyy longer than you as I don't have hand eye coordination to do the map seed cheat and frame perfect glitches
I also like Keira to be my wife, so I did everything to marry her, and it's worth it, I am successfull. Every hole I dropped, every stairs I went down is an inch to this success 🎉🎉🎉🙏🤣.. good job po!

Maybe you're confused because the 1 billion g fishing glitch happens in winter, same as Thomas' request. You can look up the shipped item list for this game and see that it only sells for 1g.
