Im sorry but how the hell did Leandros get appointed as a chaplain? He broke the codex astartes and chaplain conduct when he handed Titus over to the Inquisition rather than the chapters' own chaplains. So how the hell did he become one when he didnt even follow basic rules of chaplaincy?
Probably realised he was wrong to give Titus to the inquisition and hopes to atone for his mistake by becoming a spiritual guide for his brothers and ensure he will never make the same mistake again, plus it seems he has matured since graia and whilst he still has his suspicions, he seems to acknowledge Titus as a hero of the chapter and a true brother
No logic at all it just forced there for narrative, especially annoying in that too. Fucking tiring to hear this forced i dont tryst you shit when in reality he would be living legend and when chapter would have heard how titus was betrayed and sold to inquisition that chapter master would be shamed. Sadly, he did. Emperor-botherer that he is, it was a given that he’d become a Chaplain. What surprises me is that he doesn’t seem to be as foolish as he was in the first game: he acknowledges that Titus is indeed a hero to the chapter, but is sure to clarify that he still doesn’t quite trust him. He doesn’t go out of his way to make the battle harder, but neither does he try to make it easier on him. I hope that in the years since Graia, he’s come to acknowledge the mistake he made in giving Titus up to the Inquisition and is trying to atone for it by serving as the spiritual heart of his chapter: the Codex is still the Rule and the Law, but it is not gospel, and Guilliman himself has stated such.

I understand the whole face recognition. I understand it would be a physics hassle to process the helmet on and off. But I hate that you barely see Named astartes with helmets. You're in the middle of combat. PUT YOUR FUCKING HELMET. Edit : I discovered after watching the 10th hour or so of a streamer playing the game, that a toggle exist to get rid of the helmets. I find the existence of this toggle completely stupid.
When the enemies you're fighting will kill you regardless of a helmet or not, they'd rather fight and die with their face in the open rather than behind a helmet. If the helmet offers no protection, why wear it? Especially if you think you're going to die at any moment. They'd rather breathe fresh air before they die rather than dying in what's essentially a giant, bullet proof casket.
@@justsomeguy1136 Why do all other non named astartes wear it then? in the background you can see countless of space marines wearing helmets, it's just the main protagonists that do not. It's dumb. For visual, and for lore. when in battle, they all wear it. Even at the end of the game, when Titus gets the imperial laurels onto said helmet. it's pointless since he's ever rarely seeing wearing it. It's part of the issued suit, why the fuck would they not wear it?
@WhisperingWinds0 because they're all individual people who act differently? Are you dumb? No shit not everyone is going to act and do the same. There's just people, and 99% of the time, they're named characters, that have that personality that don't care about their helmet being on. All tyranids can bore through ceramite armor. They can shoot acid, they can slice through it with their claws, helmet or not, if they hit you in the head with an attack you're DONE. That helmet, along with your face, is getting turned to Swiss cheese. So what's the big deal if they wear their helmet or not? The outcome remains the same.
As an Admech player, I feel REALLY annoying to those two tech-priests...your work is to KEEP those knowledge, not USE them🙄 Luckily my forge world's magos won't be that foolish, and we did have more experience on control these artifacts🙄and they calling us techno-heresy, what a joke🙄

Unfortunately the story is a bit confusing for one not deeply versed in 40K lore. Overall a better film to watch than most that are released nowadays.

I tought the same originally but if the subtitles have the names of the characters whos saying the line it says calgar
Its not Calgar it sounds like like Mark strong
Nope, Slaanesh
I think it is to, he was in the stream where the chaos sorcerer was and he was talking about seeing everything and seeing the Emperor. It's very possible it was the Emperor.
@@diegojimenez5937i mean calgar wasnt even there when he wakes up tho, he only walks over afterwards
This is just there to force some feels but in the end it just becomes more tiring. But in other ways this was awesome
There would be immense recpect for him not only by staying alive more than 200 years killed orc warboss and chaos lords left and right, after that served in death watch for 100 years but no i cant trust you bla bla bla
He conspired with an inquisitor who was later executed for heresy and chaos worship!! And Titus is the one who is made to feel ashamed and then demoted while that taritor was made a chaplain? The ultramarines have no honour.
@@Versosurma don’t forget he was literally captain of First founded chapter specifically ultramarines which are second to most loyal and least defective chapters and some random tactical marine accuses captain of corruption

Titus stopped 2 Chaos invasion
Leandros: "The Codex Astartes don't mention you should do that. It must be Chaos who guide his hand!"
2:54:35 OH NO HE FUCKING DIDN'T
@@TheCorrodedMan well said. i just have a feeling he can be some sort of a chaos sleeper agent in 3rd game.
I think in the 3 rd game the enemy would be Slaneesh forces and Leondros has very much the sins pride and other Charectistiks which would made him susecceble to Slaneesh Corruption

Yeah that was pretty sick. I think it fits
No let them keep them off so we can scan their faces for infiltration…
I think there is an option in the settings to toggle helmets.

Thanks to this game, we get to fully see just how agile space marines in power armor are.
The short series Astartes created by one person actually showed how true Space Marines would move and act. These guys still felt slow.
@@FatalFist Correct. They got their strength and raw power down but they got nowhere near their speed. That cultist would have been blasted to pieces before he could move anywhere near that bomb if it were.
Astartes are capable of outpacing Eldar and Tyranids. Their speed capabilities are unreal. Tyberos can even do it in his freakishly oversized Terminator armour.

One thing I really like is how pathetic a frag grenade looks like when thrown against a greater daemon.
Wait, *THE* Cadian 8th?
So these guys are descendants if not the very individuals that fought at Cadia, Since Titus has served for 200 years that puts the Battle of Cadia within the (extended) human lifespan

better than watching most movies out there.
The cutscenes alone play very well as a standalone film...
Edit: after watching all the cutscenes, I have to say the animation and graphics are stunning. Great voice acting all around. Unfortunately the story is a bit confusing for one not deeply versed in 40K lore. Overall a better film to watch than most that are released nowadays.
Henry wanted to play lots of characters but honest, given how Titus looks so much like him as Superman. I can't help but feel this should be his role. Even though the games are ideal as it is.
Maybe like a mini series of Titus in the Death Watch.

2:34:00 *CALGAR*
For those who don't know, the Lord of Change (the big bird thing) are literally *the* strongest magic-wielders of Chaos, or the entire universe. There is a reason anyone who is even equal to them is a "Legendary" lord among species numbering billions or trillions. Yes, there are a few who are more powerful but that's less than 10-100 names depending on your definition. So Calgar, who isn't even a psycher (basically mage) himself to just mentally force himself through its magic is one badass move.
I mean, hell, the Space marine has been in two games, seen some shit, Chaos lords, Greater Demons, and *this* is the only time he is dropping his jaw.
I wish they had thier helmets on
You can do that in the options menu of the game.
