@GooseGuzzy it had me believing he was using a bot voice for the misspeaks as if it was a misspelled word put into the prompt at times lol. His speaking is great and very smooth, but the odd misspeak even when he just used the same word 30 seconds before made me wonder. At least until I heard him live interview Blizz employees not long ago, and haven't looked into many vids other than his top 10 style vids like this. Dyslexia or other similar issue makes sense. All good, Hiru!
The Impsy quest in vanilla WoW was a reference to the New Kids on the Block 1988 single "You Got It (The Right Stuff)" that was featured in the 1989 video game film "The Wizard" and parodied in 1992 by Wierd Al Yankovic as "The White Stuff." The song had been featured in a ton of movies and tv shows throughout the 90's and 2k's.
Not being able to summon in netherstorm wss also a barrier to force players to buy flying and a flying mount if u wanted to enter Tempest Keep, The Eye and its L70 dungeons.
there are tons of metal song refferences on warlocks and dks mostly, like hand of doom, or most of maldraxxus too, but warlocks have a good bit of it, some quests from legion too
Metallica did do an album with a full orchestra. There have been a lot of metal bands using an orchestra. Classical and metal have more in common than some might think.
Warlocks are all about Orchestrating some chaos like Colonel Kilgore in Apocalypse Now with Ride of the Valkyries blasting as we become Architects of Orchestral Destruction. Just imagine Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata being played as warlocks all around you plot your demise!
3:00 uhh... Aman'thuls vision was infact not a legiondary, since it had a very specific drop location in the Argus boss and not the random drop like all the other ones apart from the Argus questline ring. It did not have the "Unique-Equipped Legion Legendaries" either.
Actually, Netherstorm was still Plains of Farahlon for years after the destruction of Draenor, looking more like Nagrand, until the blood elves started messing about and draining the land and messing with the mana forges they ripped out of the Tempest Keep they took over from the naaru who arrived to rescue the draenei. You can talk to a human mage who was stuck there after the (lowercase) cataclysm who says that the change was only recent at the time of tBC.
I can tell you who’s not a Metallica fan lol. James Heartfield Lars Ulreek Curt Hamlet and Bob Truheelo. And future bass???? Is it fish music? Are you ok hiru? Maybe you had a minor stroke when recording this. It’s spelled bass but pronounced base. You gotta be trolling.
if you were in "Real TBC" and still "learning WoW"... and also part of a guild participating in the "Race to World First" (even though it wasn't this big of a event than now ^^), you would have done this... But if you think playing "TBC Classic" now is the Same as Real TBC back than, then you are more wrong than you think ;)
For proper progression raiding, it is very common to abuse soulstones to invalidate a mechanic. Maybe it isn't necessary but it makes things incredibly more comfortable
The main reason warlocks couldn't summon in the Netherstorm was to prevent access to their dungeons to players without a flying mount.
The old Ozzy Osbourne ad always made locks synonymous with rock for me.
he's a newish wow player he doesn't know about things like that
So hunters are monks because Chuck Norris made the ad?
@@Krulfar there were no monks in the game at the time... chuck norris was a hunter that does not hunt
the ozzy ad for death knights is what led to me finding wow. good times.
@@Leeloo-Foxx he was a warlock
Hiru's reading disability gets a chuckle out of me sometimes. James "Heartfield" lol
Also the misspelling of his name. "hatfield" lol.... but future bass made me actually lol
Does he actually have dyslexia or something? He's mispronounced so many things over the years
@Syngrafer there's no way he doesn't, the man is terrible with pronunciation. not his fault tho, just the way he is

I spit when he said “future bass”
future bass... a fish from the future
All about that bass, no trout
Fun fact: the main theme of Drustvar and Waycrest Manor soundtrack is also an iteration of The Phantom of the Opera theme.
As an Aussie that’s played on and off very casually since launch, learning about the Flume reference was super cool!

Every warlock knows that we are all fans of Scandinavian Symphonic Metal
Thats only for Druid players really
That music is absolute garbage. F for my ears

9:15 warlocks created the first death knights (Gul'dan) and the lich king was previously a warlock (Ner'zhul).

the slaughtered lamb is also a play on 'lambs to the slaughter', a phrase befitting leading your enemies to their own doom.
It's the exact name of the pub from 'An American Werewolf in London'. That's where it's from.
What's with the priest game play when talking about warlocks? Did you think we wouldn't notice?

Warlocks like opera, classical and shit like that?
(looks at the tab playing Consort Radahn from the Elden Ring OST)
That's slander!
"James Heartfield" JFC
Future bass. Like a fish from the future?
James Hetfield, spelled at Hatfield and pronounced as Hartfield. Love your videos but I found it funny his last name was all over the place.
If he got the name right, Lars would probably try and sue him. Hiru was playing 4D chess to avoid it :D

Why do you pronounce everything wrong? It's pronounced Base, not Bass like the fish.

He pronounces a lot of words wrong just to annoy people and get comments out of it as well. It works time to time since you've commented about it.
no way they put the warlock quest in fortnite /j

Ok now you’re AI.
Future Bass. Bruh we’ve been watching you for years and you’re still Thunderfury levels of not being able to pronounce things properly 😂
You can't even pronounce the word "sculpture". I'm done. Thumbs down.
no sorry, saying warlocks are associated with opera because Hearthstone Festival of Legends, is dumb as fuck
Oh I though you’ll going to talk about extremely racist community but that’s far from “unknown” 😂😂
james HATfield😂😂😂 I know you're not one to care for the correct spelling of words but come on man, you're just embarrasing yourself at this point🤣
is the intentional mispronouncing of names not enough to get comments that you have to get bots now?
???
The whole bot thing is a problem all across YT. Just report them and hope YT fixes the bot problem.
the bots are entirely unrelated, bots will swarm ANY youtuber with over 100k subs
Hiru has been on a warlock bunge recently, and while i love the content in general i am getting bored of warlocks
I mean good for you..? But everyone else seems content..
The Metallica singer's name is Hetfield, with an e. Not Hartfield, as you said. And not Hatfield, as you typed. Great job insulting your audience.
