Common Rhigvedic and Pre-Chritian European Gods List =
The following is an almost exhaustive list of common Indo-European deities found in the 'mythologies' of more than one branch. Note that every single one of these deities is found in the Rigveda:
    1. Dyaus Pitar (Vedic), Zeus Pater (Greek), Jupiter (Roman), Dei Patrous (Illyrian), Dievs (Baltic).
    2. Uṣas (Vedic), Eos (Greek), Aurora (Roman), Aushrine (Baltic).
    3. Varuṇa (Vedic), Odinn/Wodan (Germanic), Ouranous (Greek), Velinas (Baltic).
4.Asura (Vedic), Aesir (Germanic), Ahura (Avestan).
    5. Marut (Vedic), Ares (Greek), Mars (Roman).
    6. Parjanya (Vedic), Perkunas (Baltic), Perunu (Slavic), Fjorgyn (Germanic).
    7. Traitana (Vedic), Thraetaona (Avestan), Triton (Greek).
    8. Aryaman (Vedic), Airyaman (Avestan), Ariomanus/Eremon (Celtic).
    9. Saramā/Sārameya (Vedic), Hermes (Greek).
    10. Pūṣan, Paṇi (Vedic), Pan (Greek), Vanir (Germanic).
    11. Rudra (Vedic), Ruglu (Slavic).
    12. Danu (Vedic), Danu (Irish).
    13. Indra (Vedic), Indra (Avestan), Inara (Hittite).
    14. Śarvara (Vedic), Kerberos (Greek).
    15. Śrī (Vedic), Ceres (Greek), Freyr/Freya (Germanic).
    16. Bhaga (Vedic), Baga (Avestan), Bog (Slavic).
    17. Apām Napāt (Vedic), Apām Napāt (Avestan), Neptunus (Roman), Nechtain (Celtic).
    18. Ṛbhu (Vedic), Elbe (Germanic = English Elf).
    19. Yama (Vedic), Yima (Avestan), Ymir (Germanic).
The tally (out of 19): Vedic (19), Greek (9), Avestan (7), Germanic (7), Roman (4), Baltic (4) Slavic (3), Celtic (2), Hittites (1), Albanian (1). This is another line of evidence that Sanskrit stayed in the original homeland thus keeping majority deities in their original form representing their natural phenomena. Also, it was the reverse migration from India to Europe as opposed to what so called Āryan Invasion/Migration theory suggests.

Dasrajanya yuddha, popularly known as the Battle of the Ten Kings, is the event after which out of India migration took place.
(Example, Alina tribe settled in Greece and started calling themselves Helenic, Bhrigu tribe became the Phrygians etc)
Until then in our culture's infancy we had understood the basics that there is a pantheon of beings more powerful than us and contact with them revealed more information about more beings and eventually Parambrahm itself.
Hence, we have the knowledge and there the culture just died out because of forced conversions. Also, the vedas are not alien to Shiva, Vishnu and Shakti, there are versions of the three described in Sama and Yajur Veda, plz do check for yourself.

Tengrits are a tribe of people who worship Shiva. Tengri is the another name for Shiva and Uma is the another name for Parvati. I have a friend, who follows Tengrism and he clarified me that, his name is Kabir Khan (Khan is the title given to clan leader). Chengez Khan was also a Tengrist and so he did not invade India. He came as a blessing to the world as during that time Islamic atrocities reached hights, and Chengez Khan invaded the Islamic territories and treated them as slaves. No Islamic ruler dared to fight with Chengez Khan. That's the power of Mahadev Bhakht. You can even see the Trishul near Chengez Khan's mausoleum in Mongolia. Har Har Mahadev!!

I think Dyaus is a formof bhagwan vishnu because in Varah Avatar bhagwan varah had children with Bhu devi and one of them is famous Tarakasur who made Maa Kamakhya temple (from where I belong to). This is actually a very fascinating topic specially when you are deep in sadhana from an young age and you start meeting supernatural entities and saints and sometimes I hear names of gods and their practices not known to man.
P.S: Before any of you liberal come and cry below about my education and status since that is important to you guys I am a doctor and now doing my PG in Psychiatric studies and a research scholar in an university in Sydney.
P.S.S: Forgot to mention the Hades the king of underworld in Greek myth is also same copy of Yama, many Hindus don’t know that Yama have a celestial bull as his ride and a three headed dog as well. Also their weapon Yama’s Pash (divine extractor of souls) is same as Hade’s extractor of soul.
Really makes me wonder what a magical world it once used to be before dawn of two barbaric cults that destroyed everything

Greek mythology especially, i think is very similar to Hindu mythology. It's not only the similarities between greek and hindu gods like Zeus pater (Zeus other name in Greek is Dia patir and in genitive form is Dios) with Dyaus patir in hinduism etc. But certain myths are also similar like naga creatures with greek mythology figures like Cecrops and Achelous who were half human half snakes and greek figures like the hekatonkheires (deities or guardians who had hundred hands) with hindu deities who also appear in stories with having many hands. Also Vritra is equivalent with Typhon etc . And these stories are very ancient surely before the year 800 or 1000 BC.

This is confusing. I thought Indra is a title and here he's being referred to as an individual himself.

The concept of Indra being a title was incorporated in puranic times. Not in Vedic times.

#Askabhijit Sir what are your thoughts on this? and How can we tackle this issue? We mourn the loss of an 18- year-old Dalit student, Darshan Solanki, who joined @iitbombay 3 months back for his BTech. We must understand that this is not a personal/individualized issue, but an institutional murder. Despite our complaints the institute did not care to make the space inclusive and safe for Dalit Bahujan Adivasi students.'
In another tweet, the Circle stated: 'The idea of merit is weaponized to harass the students coming to IITs.'

There is, the Nous in platonic religion, the Arkhé of the philosophers, or the Monad of Proclus and the neoplatonics. Even in traditional mythology Hesiod talks about Khaos, as being the primordial being.
