    zeus is actually known as dyaus in the vedas.
    Dyaus (/ˈdjaʊʃ/ DYOWSH), or Dyauspitar (Devanagari द्यौष्पितृ, Dyáuṣpitṛ́), is the Ṛgvedic sky deity. His consort is Prithvi, the earth goddess, and together they are the archetypal parents in the Ṛg·veda.
    Consort: Prithvi
    Abode: Dyuloka, Sky (ākāśa, आकाश)
    Offspring: Surya, Ushas, and the other gods
    Greek equivalent: Zeus

    • @hemblem131
      @hemblem131 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Fun Fact Dyaus Pitar stemmed from Indo European Dyeus Phter , or God Father , as the ind europeans spread so did their religion so it modified into different branches , if you have studdied latin for example dyeus phter looks similar to deus pater , which was another name to jupiter for the latin people , Zeus on the other hand is a shorter form of zeos pateras , which also suprisingly stemmed from dyeus phter, so this person who said the greeks were stealing from the vedas is actually wrong! we all share are religious roots to the indo european gods , this is also example to Manu and the great flood , which is related to noahs ark and the greek myth of deucalion , The Norse Myth Ymir and the blood flood and The Surah Nuh . If you listen closely Nuh and Noah are obviously islamic and christian names which stem from the same origin but Manu may seem different but if you take away the Ma and ur left with nu like islamic Nuh . Isnt that wonderful. Manus is were all this stems from , manus is still the word for person or man in some languages . Also in all of the myths in some ways they are warned like manu by vishnu , nuh by allah , noah by god and some were preserved like the last two jotuns of ymir and deucalion and pyrrhas of jupiter . I know i basically explained what @AbhijitChavda sir said but applying more examples but hope this sparks curiosity! #AskAbhijit thoughts on this ??

    You know...in Slavic mythology it's a different setup: we had three main gods Perun,Svarog,Veles - Triglav (Three-head) Similar to Hindu Trimurti? , also in Roman mythology prior the merging with Greek mythology, they had The Capitoline Triad - Jupiter, Juno, Minerva. But later they made Jupiter the supreme, and the rest 11 gods resemble the Olympians.

    I’m what you would call “spiritually homeless”, and I have no recollection as to why or how I ended up at this video. But damn, I feel so enlightened having just learned all of this.
    Here in the US, we’re all pretty accustomed to the idea of a mass migration out of Africa, into the Fertile Crescent and beyond, but what we don’t seem to consider are the cultural implications of such a migration. It doesn’t happen over night. It steadily occurs over thousands of years.
    So it’s very little recognized that ultimately our ancestors would have found refuge in the greater Indian area of asia and continued on, be it because of war, weather, nomadic customs or many other reasons, people found a reason to uproot themselves and their families and continue moving on. Coalescing in a building of a new culture and society.
    One thing we forget is that our belief systems need not worry about being forgotten or left behind like some item of luggage that got lost in the move. We simply take it with us in our hearts and minds. The only changes that are made are the linguistic ones and the geography. Ultimately it’s time and distance that makes us all seem so different. But when analyzed closely as you did here for us in this video, you can see the etymological path the people have taken through history. You broke it down beautifully when showing the etymology of the word Allina and how ultimately it developed into the Hellenic people.
    You put it beautifully. They didn’t steal anything. It was always theirs, it just morphed over time.
    Thank you for your insight. I’m super pumped I came across this video. Can’t wait to watch more, dude.

    The problem here is Zeus' battle against a sea serpent is his least important myth the actual important myths are the rebellion against the titans known as theogony his fight against the monster typhon which resulted in the birth of many other mythical creatures and his involvement in the many myths involving his sons such as heracles Perseus bellephron and his other 47 sons their is enough of an distinction in Indra and Zeus that we could be certain that they are barely the same thing or stolen

    • @dankstank110
      @dankstank110 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      And Indra is barely ever depicted with a mace but rather a bow or a sword and his lightning bolt

    • @dankstank110
      @dankstank110 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also if you are implying that typhon is the "snake" then I'd have say that is only one of the many depictions of typhon as he is often depicted with wings of a bat/eagle (mostly bat) face of an ass (donkey) and multiple heads of many animals like lions bulls tigers wolves bears and many others. Typhon could barely be classified as an snake it is more like an amalgamation of multiple different creatures than an snake

    • @dankstank110
      @dankstank110 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also Vikings are not an ethnic or religious group Vikings or Vikingr is a profession the word Vikingr is used to define sea faring traders fishermen and/or raiders usually the Vikingr were the only people that other kingdom came in contact with and hence named them Vikings. Thor isn't a Viking God but instead an scandinavian or Norse god and he is even more different to Indra than Zeus. Thor unlike both Zeus and Indra isn't a sky father or king of god's he is instead the son of the sky father another distinction is that unlike the other two Thor doesn't survive his battle with jormungandr but instead dies to it

    • @dankstank110
      @dankstank110 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      5:47 I might be a bit nitpicky but Zeus doesn't defeat jormungandr Thor does Zeus defeats typhon also another thing to consider here is that all of these different culture have had run ins with Romans who usually just absorbed multiple different cultures and assimilated them into one resulting in similarities like these none of them have been stolen from each other but rather reshaped to fit each other better by Romans. Jupiter is an assimilation of the Egyptian god Ra Greek God Zeus and Norse god Odin and Indian god Indra there was also trade and other sorts of contact of the many different groups which also resulted into simplification of such gods and myths for better understanding. Now I'd like to say that this isn't a rant but just more information added to the video

    • @dankstank110
      @dankstank110 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also another myth is about the storm God Susano who defeated the eight headed serpent orochi now no one actually knows where the original myth is from but most people belive and support the theory that it first existed in Mesopotamia and had its roots in Mesopotamia since 1200 BCE while Sanskrit is around 900-1000 BCE followed by Greek myths and then the many other myths

    Great answer. We should stop looking at these ideas as being stolen, and either like explained here, migrated and evolved over time towards new cultures. This is how humanity unfolds.
    Also, a truth is a truth wherever you go; so various cultures may have the same truths, let’s take the Sun, you see the sun anywhere you are on earth, but the perspective is different due to location, languages are different so the names may differ, but the object, the Sun is the same, regardless if one culture due to being older seen it before a newer culture.
    Truths are truths wherever you are. And cultures migrate and evolve over time, this is the way of life, of humanity. We are all one people.

    Greatly explained Sir 👏. I've shared. I beg to differ on Celt, Vened, they're not IE or Vedic. Norse, Goths have fresh arrivals of Kshatriyas (b/w 4th c BC to 5th c.) from gangetic plains.
    Here's my study 👉Founder & kings of all European, Mediterranean, C.Asian, Steppe, SE Asian nations are Bharath's Vedic/Arya warrior caste R1a1aY/R1a1Y (Kshatriyas), this marker didn't exist in Steppe to Europe before 1k BCs. CimmeArya, Saka, Sauromata, Alani, Roxolani, TochaArya, Kushan, Wushun, Xiangno, Khotan Aryas conquered Great Steppe then Europe, China in the 1k BCs from India-Iran when Vedics from Bharath already conquered upto Anatolia (Mittani-Hatti-Hari) in 2k BCs., all later conquerors of North have descended from them. Greco-Roman are M-H-H Arya descents, only Aryas can bring IE language, chariot, Mitra, the thunder/sky God, astronomy, astrology, funerary cremation in Greece & Italy. Aryas in west have turned blonde/white breeding with white women (Yamnyan Celt R1bY, Sintashtan Vened R1aY) like brown Jews have turned blonde. Imagine Europe's Monarchies came 1300 years after Sakas' 700 BC. empire, literature after 7th c CE. Greece, Italy Monarchies started 1000 years after M-H-H.
    Proven conquest of west by Aryas.
    👉2k BCs Mittani-Hatti-Hari conquered upto Anatolia.
    👉800 BCs CimmeArya, Saka conquered Balkan, Ukraine, Russia.
    👉500 BCs Parsha conquered Greece, Balkan.
    👉400 BCs Sauromata, Alani conquered beyond Ukraine & upto British Irish Isles, remember RgVedic Goddess Danu.
    👉400 CEs one Alani band conquered Spain raiding Greece, Italy.
    👉400 CEs. Hun conquered 1/2 Europe descending from Xiangno, Khotan.
    ++++++++
    👉Since 800 BCs. whites (Celt,Vened), C.Asian & G.Steppe tribals are en$laved by Aryas (CimmeArya, Saka, Sauromata, Alani, Roxolani, TochaArya, Kushan, Wushun, Xiangno, Khotan).
    👉Whites are next en$laved by Roman descending from Mittani Aryas.
    👉Next en$laved by Hun descending from Xiangno, Khotan Aryas of Tarim basin.
    👉Next en$laved by Moors of N.Africa for 700 years, Moor leaders are Irani Aryas.
    👉Next en$laved by Turk, Mongol. Lords of Turk, Mongol tribals are Tocha-Arya, Kushan, Wushun, Khotan Aryas. Tribals don't give birth to conquerors. Rulers don't share common race with subjects even though they speak subject's language. R1a1aY, R1a1Y is in Chinese, Tibetian, Turk Mughal, C.Asian, SE.Asian, Arab, Jews, Middle Easterners.
    ++++++++
    Whites (Celt,Vened) aren't IE/Arya/warrior race, no evidence of native language. Let alone riding chariot, never rode horse. Roman labelled them subhum@n. IBN Fadlan described yellow haired are f!lthiest. Till 10th c. custom of r@ping, hum@n s@crifice. Whites aren't martial race but they @nnihilate weakers, they've @nnihilated native Euros. Roman, Saka, Sauromata, Alani, Hun could do the same with C-Vs but didn't. In last 1k years Kshatriyas in west assimilating with whites carried out gen0cides of American, African, Asian, Australian. Hiroshima nuking, WW1/2. British rulers who are R1a1a/R1a1Y l00ted $45 tril. alone from India & feeding whites leaving over 10 mil. starved to death. Vedic civilization is destroyed by her own children.
    ++++++++
    Stark difference in civiliation confirms west is multuracial. Celt, Vened are only whites who've changed others' physiognomy giving their women at the same time their whiteness is reduced by others. Browns were Arya from India, Phonecian-Etruscan-Jews from Middle East. Negroids from Sahara. Some C.Asian, native Euros, Gypsies, Mongoloids. Kshatriyas were massive in height & girth, dark haired/eyed, brown skinned (check earliest images of Greco-Roman, Alexander TG, 6th c. Byzantine emperor with Vandals, Irani, Saka, TochaArya, Kushan, Khotan, Xiangno).
    ++++++++
    Kshatriya are founder of Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism. Kshatriya Buddha, Mahavira, Ashoka TG, Kurus TG are the greats no race on earth could give birth. Abrahamic religions are existing because Kurus TG saved Judaism, he's the only non-Jews regarded "messiah" in Judaism. Literature of all civiliations can't reach 1/4 of Vedic. RgVeda is the oldest IE literature. 40% Earth's population speak Arya languages. Aryas who surpass even great Mesopotamian, Ezyptian can't originate from civilizationless Steppe. Oldest chariot found in "Sinauli" India. Oldest city "Rakhigarhi". None ever rode Chariot in Steppe. Vedics=Aryas=IE.
    +++++++
    Will Durant, American historian.
    "India was the motherland of our race, and Sanskrit the mother of Europe's languages: she was the mother of our philosophy; mother, through the Arabs, of much of our mathematics; mother, through the Buddha, of the ideals embodied in Christianity; mother, through the village community, of self-government and democracy. Mother India is in many ways the mother of us all."
    William James, American Author "From the Vedas, we learn a practical art of surgery, medicine, music, house building under which mechanized art is included. They are encyclopedia of every aspect of life, culture, religion, science, ethics, law,
    cosmology and meteorology"

      Norse are descents of Cimme-Arya+freshly arrived Shatriyas from India. They're Vedic R1a1aY, R1a1Y. Norse literature came after 10rh c., way younger than India's regional Bengali literature, see how lately Europe got Monarchies & literature. Fresh arrivals of Kshatriyas from gangetic plains (4th c BC to 6th c.) formed Goth-Norse with CimmeArya, Saka offshoots, brought properly functioning monarchy literature in 5th c., Gupta style Vimanas in church, castle in Eurasia, timber built cities like Kiev, Novogorod, funerary cremation of Norse-Goths, Vishnu idol of Volga are the evidences of Vedic origin. In middle age Indian cities were in timber, Megastenes, Faxian gave accounts. Greco-Roman never built cities in timber & Vimanas.

    I wonder if the Norse tradition of a young person venturing into a burial mound to gain knowledge is at all connected to Nachiketa learning from Yama.

    I'm loving your videos. Need more exposure to ancient India references. Though i have a query regarding this topic
    If the actual person had some name in the real time, why would the newly formed races try to change the name? If Indra is the name, any wouldn't they call him with that?
