DIY ~HOW TO MAKE LACE TINT SPRAY|❌NO MORE FABRIC DYE

- This is my budget friendly version for lace and cap tint spray.
MY THEORY BEHIND THIS CONCOCTION:
I decided to creat my own tint spray, based off of the fact that the store bought spray never match.. its always too orange or red..
I used alcohol free foam to reduce to risk of my lace lifting, plus in my opinion, when I use a foundation that’s the color of my skin, it takes away that grayish white line that appears whenever the lace or cap is not your correct color.
I used a few hair beads to help mix the products together , so that the makeup doesn’t clump making it harder to spray
I also switched to a bottle with a finer mist to help distribute the color evenly.
NEVER WORRY ABOUT ORANGE OR RED SCALP AGAIN..
Plus I made it with things I already have at home so it was FREE..

What is alcohol free foam?
It’s a mousse or wrap foam that you can use for wet sets, to rejuvenate curls , or wrap your hair etc.. they sell it at Walmart, Sally’s, or pretty much every store with ethnic hair care products. Some have alcohol but it’s best to use the one without.. it will usually say it on the bottle..

How long does it last for
Once dried. Mine lasts the whole install.. it doesn't drip or run... but that's my personal experience..

The liquid was Cream of nature alcohol free wrapping foam and the colorful things were hair beads to help mix foam with the powder foundation ..
Does liquid foundation work to?
I haven't tried it. I feel liquid foundation has too much oil and would not mix well with the alcohol free foam.. but its always worth a try. If you do try it, please let me know how it turn out..

Why not just buy a stocking cap that color? They have brown ones I'm so confused 🤔
Well not all stocking caps match all skin tones.. That's why people typically add foundation to the cap .before applying the wig. This technique can be used tint the lace as well. Hope this clears up any confusion you may have.
sometimes people use this lace tint to spray on the lace portion of their wig. and even though they have brown caps the color match also depends on the persons skin undertone.
