I like that - we do the possible and God does the impossible- prayers for Ireland 🇮🇪 from Texas - one of the keys I’ve seen is perpetual adoration- the parishes here in the US that do really well often have a perpetual adoration chapel. There is one there in Tooreen that we were blessed to go to when we were there
Eucharistic Revival can be done in parishes. I think this will be even more powerful. What Irland did with the rosary prayer walk in March or April was wonderful. I was very happy for Irland.
I think the Eucharistic revival is a wonderful idea, but belief in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist will only come with the refining of the Novus Ordo Mass. More reverence, sacred music, beautiful artwork, and silence. To help reinforce the Eucharist is more than symbolic, kneel and receive on the tongue. Belief that it is merely a symbol is held by majority of Catholics. The Novus Ordo can be done with great reverence, but too often it is done with more effort given to please the crowd.
