Me and my friends have a gaming channel called Big Network and we oy play on Switch GameCube and Wii but not all of the games are 1st party nintendo games would that technically make us a Nintendo Channel or not
MP7 is so underrated imo. Maybe it’s nostalgia? But I just feel we don’t talk enough about the 8-player mode. Releasing prior to Smash 4 and prior to online play, this was one of the few times gamers could play with more than 4 players (and perhaps the first time without LAN). I have a lot of siblings and we always had to take turns, except when playing MP7. One of us would use our left hand to control one character while the other would use their right hand. So much fun and very unique gameplay.
Mario party 9 and 10 are underrated and overhated so I’m glad both are outside the bottom 5. I’d put them above super, 1, and maybe even 5 as well as what they’re above here

I own 4-10 and the 3 switch ones so I’ll rank them from worst to best. I haven’t really played 10 so I’ll leave it out. Super Mario Party: Sluggish, bad economy, terrible boards, ally is too broken. Easily the worst one I’ve played. They failed hard at trying to emulate the original 8. Mario Party 4: Very mid for a gamecube mario party but it was the first one the other 3 are just so much better. The solo mode in this game is quite hard due to being super luck based and the boards are all just boring squares. Mario Party 9: It’s not a bad game I can appreciate them trying something new. The minigames are pretty fun even if the game is very luck based. Mario Party Superstars: Much better than Super Mario Party and the older boards coming back was cool. Still slow but a fun game. Super Mario Party Jamboree: Pretty cool but lack of original minigames. Still slow and the ally system is still too strong. These new ones aren’t as punishing or fast like the older ones. Mario Party 5: The boards are creative and fun and the bonus modes bring an interesting touch over 4. I like the addition of the orbs here compared to 4’s lesser items. There are plenty of fun minigames in here. Mario Party 8: Such an underrated game. The boards are very creative and I like the use of the wii remote controls to play the game. Mario Party 7: The 8 player mode was an interesting change and bowser time always brought some fun changes. The minigames are really good like Fun Run and Track & Yield are probably some of my favorite games. Mario Party 6: The goat of all mario parties. The orb system is highly improved on here and each board requires specific strategies to win. The minigames are some of the best ever made and so are the boards. Unlike the other 3 there’s no actual solo mode here but that’s so minor compared to how great it is.
I grew up with MP8, MP9, and, weirdly MP5 since it was the only mario party I owned on the Gamecube. So they all hold a special place in my heart. Though even 8/9 year old me knew that MP9's formula was flawed

Mario Party Advance is the worst one in my opinion. Most of the minigames suck a** and are poorly structured. Mario Party 4 is the weakest gamecube one in my opinion. It had a lot of great minigames, but the boards were so unfinished, not to mention that 5-7 are definitely designed better. Even the N64 boards had more effort than MP4’s.

I think the main thing that really makes people hate the 3DS games and 9-10 is the really weird changes to the board game experience (having good minigames won’t necessarily make up for this because just about every Mario Party has good minigames)
Completely agree with Mario Party 6. And I would put Mario Party 3 as a close 2nd. Dont get me wrong, I really like Mario Party 2 just like everyone else, but I feel like having just 1 item makes it feel a step behind from the others. I really appreciate the strategy aspect of Mario Party so the addition of 3 items since Mario Party 3 onward is very important to me. Crossing fingers that Super Mario Party Jamboree can position itself into the top 3! 🤞🏼
@@noalindqvist9693 I think that it is a win, that we can argument Jamboree being one of the best in the series...still, a couple of mistakes don't allow me to call it the best....I still feel like maybe 3 and 6 may keep their crown after some of the hype for Jamboree wears down. My personal Ranking, from worst to best: -MP10 and the 3DS games: I never played them, so yeah. -Mario Party Advance: Yeah, not for me -Super Mario Party: Loved the partner system and the minigames were good overall, but forcing the use of Joy Cons and the lame boards really drags this one down to me. -Mario Party 9: I don't hate it, and I expected to hate it when I played it, but it is fun. It just is not what I want in a Mario Party -Mario Party 5: Jumping back to 4 and 5 after playing 6 and 7 was not a good idea 😅. I really disliked 5, but still prefer it over 9 and the others. -Mario Party 4: Didn't feel it, still liked it better than the rest above. -Mario Party 1: MY PALM! -Mario Party Superstars: I loved at first, and still do. Just as you said, it could've been more. -Mario Party 8: To me, it has the best boards of the entire franchise. So unique. And it is hella fun, specially the last board that changes direction during the night and Bowser chases you, while during the day you try to catch DK. So fun.
I will never understand how anyone can put Mario Party 5 below 4. Mario Party 5 is #1 for me because it’s the most complete one that I’ve played. Granted, I’ve not played 6 & 7.

@@HappyScaryMoxley but 5 had everything 4 had and more. There were more characters, more (and better) boards and more modes. Volleyball is still my favourite bonus mode to this day and leap leaf and pushy penguins are my favourite mini-games. The boards are also my favourites. I played 4 after 5 and it felt so underwhelming in every way.
I’d change up the order but I definitely agree that 2,3, and 6 are the best. My personal favorite is 3 but I won’t nit pick. I thought what you said about the 2 Switch ones was spot on. Superstars was incredibly disappointing.
I personally would rank Mario Party 2 in the #1 spot, Mario Party Superstars in the #2 spot, & Mario Party DS in the #3 spot, as the top 3 best Mario Party games ever. I didn’t really care for any of the GameCube versions. I also would rank Mario Party Advance below The Top 100.

Gotta agree with what you said about the N64 games board selection compared to the Wii U/Switch, thankfully though Jamboree looks to finally be fixing that issue
My only issue with jamboree is that it’s still only 5 new boards, while 2 of them are just reskins of older boards in the series. I hope that one day we will a get a new fully fledged Mario party game with 6 new boards and some new mini games thrown into the mix.
Not to mention that it kinda makes Nintendo look hypocritical for they supported Superstars. Just don’t be shocked if they pull the same bullshit again with Jamboree.
Who the hell decided that Pier Pressure should be in The Top 100? That game is literally 0 % skill and 100 % luck. Could they not think of a better minigame from Mario Party 9?
Personally speaking, I find Mario Party 2 to be highly overrated. It's still very good of course, but only 1 item slot, mediocre minigame selection, and half the boards being kinda bad holds it back. Also, the costumes being cute and fun doesn't make up for lacking gameplay. And putting Mario Party 8 lower than several other games because you didn't like the art direction as much is not a very compelling argument, just saying. The gameplay should be the main focus of wether a game is good or bad. I could say the N64 games are worse because the graphics are blocky, but that would be a poor argument, and also Mario Party 3 is really good, so I would never say that lol. Anyway, don't want to sound to harsh, but I was disappointed at the reasoning behind some of the placements. Your ranking can still stay the same, but I would have liked it if you had more, or better explanations on why you placed each entry at each spot.
As a person who grew up exclusively playing n64, im getting sick of mp 1-3 ranking entirely too high to be honest. Atp MP 8 is leagues better than those three.
I like the N64 era a lot, I understand the critiques they get but I think 2 is the best of the bunch. I also love Mario party 8 but I would take the GameCube Mario party games for the key part over anything else :)
Doesn’t Mario Party 8 have generally not as good minigames as 2 and 3? (Hell, say what you want about Mario Party 9-10, at least their minigames were better) Mario Party 1 and 8 probably have the highest number of “why the hell is this even a minigame” moments in the series imo

Mario Party 9 was also a game I played a lot growing up and I think its the first video game I bought with my own money. However, I still don't like it. The car system is not fun and neither are mini stars. Mario party 8 was and still is my favorite.

Very good list but I strongly disagree with MP4 being that high. 4 out of the 6 boards have horrendous infinites and the happening spaces in Koopa’s Seaside Soirée and Goombas Greedy Gala that you can not decline make the poor designs so much worse.

Super Mario party was a step in the right direction and ditch the car and the 3ds gimmicks. I deserve much better and thanks to that we got Party superstars.

I think 9 and 10 are overhated Mario Parties but it still think you ranked them too high. They still have some big flaws that prevent it from being as good as the previous Mario Party games. The mini-games are still great and I think that’s the thing people overlook about 9 and 10.

5:39-5:47 yeah you can blame Nintendo and their marketing department for this. It’s honeslty one of the reasons I’m not as hyped for Mario Party Jamboree as everyone else. Cause with how Nintendo had treated the majority of Mario spin-off titles in the past decade I just feel they’re gonna drop support on Jamboree once the hype for it dies down. Also it’s a sequel to Super Mario Party which for me is on par for being the worse game in the franchise

Play mario party 6's board games and the two side games in it being the bridge, and bingo game. Then play mario party 7 boards and try out the bus feature that lets you play any of the minigames where you can choose the teams by changing the order of the characters on the bus. Third one play mario party 2 boards it's just a different feel.
I throw shade where I can lol :) I think the game left me wanting a more flushed out experience especially when we already had a good Mario party on weaker hardware :)
So I can't comment on mp6 as I only played it about 15-20 times over a decade ago. I did get a copy in the mail a few days ago so I can come up with a definitive verdict if it is better than my favorite mario party... And for me, that's a swap from your list, MP3 is a better game than mp2 in my opinion. Otherwise, I do have great memories of mp6 those times I played it, but it's been so long, I don't want to rank it yet.
I never played Mario Party 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-10, advanced and superstars, but I really think the DS party games were very good maybe not top 100 but the other 3 were so good especially Mario Party DS it was so goated
A lot of entertainment looks like AI made it nowadays. The new Virtua Fighter that came out a couple years ago looks like the character models were just made by some botched AI. Somehow, characters looked better on the PS3.
mario party 3 had some really bad mini games looking back. you’ve got you’re obvious mpiq, but 2 others i really hated were that dumb cog spin duel mini game and that 1 v 3 relay race mini game. also can’t forget marios puzzle party.

-Mario Party 7: Underrated gem, the 8-player mode adds so much chaos and fun mini-games. I love it.
-Mario Party 6: I am a loner, save Superstars, I didn't play much with friends the rest of the games... except this one. It has a special place in my heart just because of that. And it is hella fun, specially the last board that changes direction during the night and Bowser chases you, while during the day you try to catch DK. So fun.
6 and 7 are also my top 2 favorites and would love to see orbs brought back
I will never understand how anyone can put Mario Party 5 below 4. Mario Party 5 is #1 for me because it’s the most complete one that I’ve played. Granted, I’ve not played 6 & 7.
@@badmeetsevil6163 you answered yourself. For me, I played 6 and 7 before 4 and 5. 4 to me felt closer to 3, so I was not that unfamiliar playing it, while 5 is a mess in the orb system compared to 6.
@@HappyScaryMoxley but 5 had everything 4 had and more. There were more characters, more (and better) boards and more modes. Volleyball is still my favourite bonus mode to this day and leap leaf and pushy penguins are my favourite mini-games. The boards are also my favourites. I played 4 after 5 and it felt so underwhelming in every way.

I’d change up the order but I definitely agree that 2,3, and 6 are the best. My personal favorite is 3 but I won’t nit pick. I thought what you said about the 2 Switch ones was spot on. Superstars was incredibly disappointing.
I personally would rank Mario Party 2 in the #1 spot, Mario Party Superstars in the #2 spot, & Mario Party DS in the #3 spot, as the top 3 best Mario Party games ever. I didn’t really care for any of the GameCube versions. I also would rank Mario Party Advance below The Top 100.

Gotta agree with what you said about the N64 games board selection compared to the Wii U/Switch, thankfully though Jamboree looks to finally be fixing that issue

My only issue with jamboree is that it’s still only 5 new boards, while 2 of them are just reskins of older boards in the series. I hope that one day we will a get a new fully fledged Mario party game with 6 new boards and some new mini games thrown into the mix.
Not to mention that it kinda makes Nintendo look hypocritical for they supported Superstars. Just don’t be shocked if they pull the same bullshit again with Jamboree.

Who the hell decided that Pier Pressure should be in The Top 100? That game is literally 0 % skill and 100 % luck. Could they not think of a better minigame from Mario Party 9?
Personally speaking, I find Mario Party 2 to be highly overrated. It's still very good of course, but only 1 item slot, mediocre minigame selection, and half the boards being kinda bad holds it back. Also, the costumes being cute and fun doesn't make up for lacking gameplay.
And putting Mario Party 8 lower than several other games because you didn't like the art direction as much is not a very compelling argument, just saying.
The gameplay should be the main focus of wether a game is good or bad. I could say the N64 games are worse because the graphics are blocky, but that would be a poor argument, and also Mario Party 3 is really good, so I would never say that lol.
Anyway, don't want to sound to harsh, but I was disappointed at the reasoning behind some of the placements. Your ranking can still stay the same, but I would have liked it if you had more, or better explanations on why you placed each entry at each spot.
As a person who grew up exclusively playing n64, im getting sick of mp 1-3 ranking entirely too high to be honest. Atp MP 8 is leagues better than those three.
I like the N64 era a lot, I understand the critiques they get but I think 2 is the best of the bunch. I also love Mario party 8 but I would take the GameCube Mario party games for the key part over anything else :)

Mario Party 9 was also a game I played a lot growing up and I think its the first video game I bought with my own money. However, I still don't like it. The car system is not fun and neither are mini stars. Mario party 8 was and still is my favorite.

Very good list but I strongly disagree with MP4 being that high. 4 out of the 6 boards have horrendous infinites and the happening spaces in Koopa’s Seaside Soirée and Goombas Greedy Gala that you can not decline make the poor designs so much worse.

Super Mario party was a step in the right direction and ditch the car and the 3ds gimmicks. I deserve much better and thanks to that we got Party superstars.
I just wish super Mario party had a better board selection, it’s a shame they were so limited. If it were more flushed out it would be way higher. I do appreciate what it did for the series though! :)

I think 9 and 10 are overhated Mario Parties but it still think you ranked them too high. They still have some big flaws that prevent it from being as good as the previous Mario Party games. The mini-games are still great and I think that’s the thing people overlook about 9 and 10.

5:39-5:47 yeah you can blame Nintendo and their marketing department for this. It’s honeslty one of the reasons I’m not as hyped for Mario Party Jamboree as everyone else. Cause with how Nintendo had treated the majority of Mario spin-off titles in the past decade I just feel they’re gonna drop support on Jamboree once the hype for it dies down. Also it’s a sequel to Super Mario Party which for me is on par for being the worse game in the franchise

Play mario party 6's board games and the two side games in it being the bridge, and bingo game. Then play mario party 7 boards and try out the bus feature that lets you play any of the minigames where you can choose the teams by changing the order of the characters on the bus. Third one play mario party 2 boards it's just a different feel.

So I can't comment on mp6 as I only played it about 15-20 times over a decade ago. I did get a copy in the mail a few days ago so I can come up with a definitive verdict if it is better than my favorite mario party... And for me, that's a swap from your list, MP3 is a better game than mp2 in my opinion. Otherwise, I do have great memories of mp6 those times I played it, but it's been so long, I don't want to rank it yet.

I never played Mario Party 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-10, advanced and superstars, but I really think the DS party games were very good maybe not top 100 but the other 3 were so good especially Mario Party DS it was so goated
Definitely play 6. I personally like 7 for the bus mode and mini games, but 6 has great side games, minigames, etc

A lot of entertainment looks like AI made it nowadays. The new Virtua Fighter that came out a couple years ago looks like the character models were just made by some botched AI. Somehow, characters looked better on the PS3.
Yeah a lot of content has lost its flare recently and it is sad to see the art is being removed :D

mario party 3 had some really bad mini games looking back. you’ve got you’re obvious mpiq, but 2 others i really hated were that dumb cog spin duel mini game and that 1 v 3 relay race mini game. also can’t forget marios puzzle party.
