Excellent overview of the long and complicated history of the Jews and Persia. Great narration- a real person who knows how to pronounce historical names perfectly and not a robot like many videos employ

1:25 “The fall of Jerusalem and the Exile were deeply traumatic events for the Judahites [i.e. Jews} leading to a religious and National crisis.
The loss of the temple seen as the dwelling place of God and the loss f nationhood led to profound questions bout their Covenant with God and their identity as a people” 605 BCE

Appreciate the overview, however the Palestinians were not ethnically cleansed. They were refugees in a war that their own leaders started.
The true ethnic cleansing occurred in the Islamic states, including Iran, that forced out their Jewish population, who then fled to Israel as their only option. That this was not mentioned is a glaring historical omission in a video about Jewish-Iranian relations.

Palestinians were refugees in their own lands? For them to become refugees in their own land, doesnt that mean ethinc cleanisng by a foreign force? Also you didnt detail how they forced out, care to explain?

      Total BS ....
      Talking out of your Butt
In Iran us Jews are represented in parliament
Many if us leave in Iran still
Iran still holds the largest Jewish population in mid East
Iran never forced Jews to leave
Some Jews left after revolution just like so many Muslim Iranian did
We have Synagogues in Iran and well free to practice

I don’t find it surprising that this channel does not know where to trace Israelites DNA. Recently, a skull was found in South Africa, tracing that skull to 1500 skeletons beneath Israel that were not of the same species as Sapiens. They named it, Naledi.
It also isn’t surprising that you won’t find any scriptures about this online, except for a Netflix series noting archaeologist had recently discovered.
